Ilse?[edit]

Is there a reason that Isle is spelled Ilse? It's not spelled that way in any form of English, old or fiction. — Unsigned comment by 68.99.3.39 (talk) on 21 June 2009

Not a know reason, as far as I can tell. Could be a mispelling, done intentionally to make it sound exotic or be related to another language than English. --Timenn < talk > 11:58, 22 June 2009 (EDT)
Also, notice the spelling of Summerset. It is spelled Sumurset. I believe these were intentional, but the reason is unknown. --Mr. Oblivion(T-C) 12:17, 22 June 2009 (EDT)
To clarify, these are rare spellings, but the reason the creator used them is unknown, as Timenn said. --Mr. Oblivion(T-C) 12:21, 22 June 2009 (EDT)
I understand the reasoning behind Svmvrset/Sumurset, but Ilse just doesn't make sense. 68.99.3.39 01:55, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

Question[edit]

What are those islands south of Yokuda? Right below the words "Sea of Pearls". — Unsigned comment by 67.248.21.30 (talk) on 24 November 2009

Those are the Yokudan islands of Nalonga, Ravan, and Seuol Yeler. –Elliot talk 10:14, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

City in Cyrodiil[edit]

The words on the map are pretty small, and I can just barely make out Skingrad, Kvatch, and Anvil in Cyrodiil (or "Imperial Province" as the map states). But there's one city north of Anvil and just west of the words "Imperial Province" that I can't make out, which looks like it starts with an S, and I don't remember seeing it anywhere in Oblivion. Any idea what it is/was? --142.161.43.198 07:54, 13 February 2010 (UTC)

That would be the county of Sutch. See the discussion here for more details. I don't think there's an official article on it, but I'll keep looking. --- Masterlocksmith 08:24, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
Ah, thanks for clearing that up. Looks interesting, actually. --142.161.43.198 03:41, 15 February 2010 (UTC)

Island to west of Anvil[edit]

There's a small Island, west of Anvil, South of hammerfell, starts with an "S", but it's not Stros M'Kar, it's closer to Anvil than that. What is it? "Stiek?" --Darkheart 22:07, 12 May 2010 (UTC)

I believe it's this. Talk Wolok gro-Barok Contributions 22:09, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
