Bug[edit]

After I killed Spriggan #1, and Unel Lloran would not talk to me, I used a Detect Animal to discover #2. After I killed that one, and #4 which popped up next to her, I then saw #3 with the Detect Animal and killed that one. I had no problem finishing this quest, despite what this bug report says. In fact, it may even be possible that I finished killing #4 before #2... but I know for sure that the one labelled #3 by this bug report was finished last. --Brf 23:18, 22 May 2008 (EDT)

The bug states that there is a possible bug, which means it won't be present in all cases or all versions. You experienced no bug, congratulations! Was this on Xbox, GotY edition? --BenouldTC 23:31, 22 May 2008 (EDT)
This was PC GOTY with the official patch. I just used the console to verify the IDs. I think I recycled the first, so I couldnt verify her... but the second I killed, just South of the Easternmost unfinished building, was a regular everyday spriggan. After that, I went inside and checked with Unel Lloran, and he said there were more spriggans, so I went out and drank a Detect Animals. After I killed #2 the first time, #4 popped up next to her, so I finished #2 and then #4, then #3 was indeed last. If this was a bug, it might have been fixed with the GOTY version of Bloodmoon, or the official patch.--Brf 06:57, 23 May 2008 (EDT)

Glitch[edit]

(moved from the article)

There is also a glitch from the ald ruhn where you recieve hire gaurds topic and if you speak to the right people before hand you cannot get this quest as it will be skipped to the hire guards mission. The so;ution is to watch what you say and to who. — Unsigned comment by 7 September 2008 (talkcontribs)

Bittergreen Petals[edit]

I found all five bittergreen petals without leaving Solstheim. There are at least four right in Raven Rock, three in one house and one in another house. I found a fifth in a locked small chest on a bottom shelf on the bottom floor of the General Quarters in Frostmoth. 207.200.116.132 02:53, 26 February 2009 (EST)

Then you were lucky. The point is that there are no guaranteed samples on Solstheim, and no plants from which it can be harvested. It can occur in random containers, which is what you found. Very handy if it happens, but you can't rely on it. –RpehTCE 03:06, 26 February 2009 (EST)
