Sorink at work

Sorink is a Redguard noble who serves as Leyawiin's Harbour Master. He runs the Leyawiin Harbour Authority, which oversees all ships in Leyawiin's port, as well as providing passage on ships to various locations.

Sorink rises at 7am every morning and goes to The Mermaid Inn for a two-hour breakfast, then returns to the office to open for the day. He works until 7pm, spends an hour taking care of paperwork, then eats dinner for two hours and goes to bed.

Sorink wears burgundy linen pants, and pigskin shoes; he carries a large amount of gold and a loaf of bread.

He sleeps on a bed in the Leyawiin Harbour Storage building.

Sorink has little time to talk, and little patience for people who want to waste that time: "I'm a busy man, what do you want?" If you want to book passage, he'll offer an opinion on any location you name:

  • Anvil: "Anvil, huh? Well I can think of worse places."
  • Bravil: "Pigsty. That's where the snotty Altmer went - I'm glad he's no longer here."
  • Duncori Walk: "What?! Why do you want to go to that primitive village? There's nothing there but Khajiit. Nothing else in all of Elsweyr!"
  • Firsthold: "Oh no, you don't want to go to Summerset! Those Elves are crazy! They're all corrupt mages and warlocks or something. You're serious, huh?"
  • Fort Akatosh: "Hah! You'll never make it as a legionary. Is that why you want to go there? Don't waste your time, you're not soldier material!"
  • Imperial City Waterfront District: "The Imperial City, huh? Now that's a destination worth thinking of. I'd live there myself if I could just get promoted."
  • Stirk: "Now Stirk is a place worth visiting! I'd love to live there when I retire."
  • Sutch: "Sutch?! That place is a ruin! Oh, wait, there are ships going there, so there must be something happening."
