Edith Cormerent works in the Waterfront Tunnel

Edith Cormerent is a Breton fence who plies her trade in the Waterfront Tunnel. She lives in the basement of the Abandoned House with a few others like her.

Edith works at night and sleeps during the day. She wakes up at 6pm and eats dinner for two hours, then spends the evening lurking in the basement; at 11pm, she goes forth to purvey her wares to those who are more active in the dark hours. She loiters around the area at the top of the stairs leading down to the Undermarket Tunnel until 6am, when she returns to the basement and goes to bed.

She wears lower-class shirt, pants, and shoes, which she changes sometimes; she has some rat on a stick.

Edith lives in the basement of the Abandoned House, where she has a pallet and a chest for her clothes.

If you encounter her in the tunnel, Edith will try to cadge a coin from you: "Spare a coin for a poor, old woman?" If you're a fellow Thief, she'll recognize you: "Spare a coin for a... oh, you're from the Thieves Guild, aren't you?" If you ask how, she says: "Oh, I've been in this business long enough to be able to tell a thief from among a crowd! So, got something hot that you need fenced quickly? I can make any object simply disappear, and at a good rate too."
