Hello, I am Mr. Hook, an avid Elder Scrolls fan. As with many people, my fandom started with Skyrim but soon expanded to many of the Elder Scrolls various incarnations.

Experience[edit]

Skyrim - I have played hundreds of hours in Skyrim, mostly vanilla. Almost all of my experience was on the Xbox 360 or Xbox 1, but I have played on PC as well. Between the all of the hours in game and reading lore, Skyrim is my area of expertise. Of the "big three" main series games, Skyrim, Oblivion, and Morrowind, this is my favorite.

Oblivion - I have about 100 hours in Oblivion, so not extensive, but enough to know what the game is like. Of the "big three" main series games this is probably my least favorite. It's not as approachable or sleek as Skyrim, and not as in depth or creative as Morrowind. Still, great faction quests, and a good game to me.

Morrowind - I have only scratched the surface of "real" Morrowind but have played with co-op mods as I needed guidance to play at first. The template for the next two games were started in Morrowind and it will always be the true foundation of what the Elder Scrolls is today.

Blades - Not as bad as the wrap it gets. It is simple and entertaining if a bit uninspired. This and Oblivion got me into what is the interesting lore of the Ayleids.

Legends - Never have been much of a turn-based card game fan but the art on the cards is worth a play in its self.

Daggerfall - I've only scratched the surface but it was actually pretty fun. if the controls weren't so bad and it wasn't so easy to break the game it would be a solid play.
