Steal an item of [Fine / Superior / Epic] quality.

Discerning Pilferer, Discriminating Plunderer and Grand Larcenist are awarded for stealing items of Fine, Superior, and Epic quality respectively. You can earn them in any order, though the lower quality items are obviously much more common. Items can be looted from owned containers, sitting out in the open, pickpocketed, looted from murder victims, or found in Thieves Troves. There's not much you can do to improve your chances at finding high quality items beyond simply looking everywhere.
