Notability[edit]

I don't think Lydia meets the requirements of a Lore People article. She doesn't have any big historical impact, mastery of a craft, notable relatives, anything. Mindtrait0r (talk) 21:50, 27 May 2024 (UTC)

I agree, the only things mentioned here are her first appearance in Skyrim and a random fact about her meeting Frea. I don't think Lydia is notable at all in the lore, regardless of her notability as a follower in the game. The only thing of note is that her Castles entry seems to verify her as the canon follower of the Dragonborn, but I still don't think that makes her notable enough to have her own page. I think she could be in People:L, but that's about it. BananaKing5 (talk) 22:44, 27 May 2024 (UTC)
Hello, I will not debate because I created this article and will obviously be biased, but I would like to add that I do agree that she deserves to be in People L --KevinM(talk) 20:40, 29 May 2024 (UTC)
Iffy about the article but I think she should go on Lore:People atleast. I think might aswell keep the article. Personally hoping we can expand notability rules soon anyways. Tarponpet (talk) 19:47, 30 May 2024 (UTC)
I am fairly neutral on Lydia truth to be told. One thing I think could be a good idea is to have some article(s) about the housecarls, thanes and jarls. The exact nature of those functions and perhaps a list of people who are members of said groups, and sworn to who.Tyrvarion (talk) 20:11, 30 May 2024 (UTC)
I support that idea --KevinM(talk) 20:43, 30 May 2024 (UTC)
