Lear Redwrist

Lear Redwrist is a Dark Elf publican who runs the Waterfront Butcher, a butcher shop at the southern end of the Imperial City Waterfront District that doubles as his home.

Lears wakes up at 6am every morning and spends two hours feeding himself and his dog, Knucklebone. Weekdays, he opens the shop at 8am and remains open until 8pm, then spends a few hours cleaning up until he goes to bed at midnight. On Loredas, he eats and then goes shopping in the Waterfront market for two hours before going to open the shop; on Sundas, he attends services at the Chapel of Kynareth from 8am to 10am, then opens the shop.

Lear wears a butcher's apron, stained pants, and black half boots; he carries some mutton, a meat cleaver, and a key to the shop.

Most of the building that Lear owns is given over to the shop. An alcove to one side of the entrance serves as his bedroom; it has a pallet, low dresser, and a washstand and trough for washing up at the end of the day.

Aside from rumors, Lear has nothing to say.
