Deletion?[edit]

Is it necessary to have two images of a brown bear? This one is of better quality and has a more interesting pose. If no one objects, I'll mark this image for deletion. --Legoless 13:16, 3 September 2011 (UTC)

You're probably right. The colours in this one are slightly off too. rpeh •TCE 13:20, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
Is it possible to merge the file histories of both of the images? I was going to move "Brown Bear 02" to this page, but I'm unsure of the effects. --Legoless 20:49, 5 September 2011 (UTC)
I'm not sure I agree with this deletion. I'd prefer to see it replaced with another image of a bear in profile with the lighting corrected than see it go completely. I'd like to keep an image showing a bear on its hind legs and on all fours instead of going with one or the other. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 20:00, 2 May 2013 (GMT)
What's the purpose? Two images seems redundant, and there's nowhere to put them both. —Legoless (talk) 23:02, 2 May 2013 (GMT)
Just visiting what links here provides an example where both are used together. Look at Oblivion:Animals#Brown Bears. I like how they work together, and it provides us some options for elsewhere. They're not necessarily redundant as one is an action shot, and the other isn't. As a humourous aside, what is up with you and I and images? We almost always seem to be supporting the opposite thing. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 00:38, 3 May 2013 (GMT)
The more the merrier, if they're good at least. I agree with the fact they're different (action and ... uhm, not action). There's always going to be some place to put them, or a place can be made. But yes, it'll require a replacement though ~ Dwarfmp (talk) 00:48, 3 May 2013 (GMT)
(edit conflict) Chezburgar's sandboxed bear page has the second image awkwardly listed in a gallery, which doesn't look great. I can't think of any relevant proverbs; maybe "beauty is in the eye of the beholder"? —Legoless (talk) 00:49, 3 May 2013 (GMT)

() I've uploaded a new version. Is this one more satisfactory? --AKB Talk Cont Mail 01:06, 3 May 2013 (GMT)
