Userboxes.[edit]

Thanks for your offer. You certainly have a lot of userboxes there. Unfortunately, I missed the spam battle. --Mankar Camoran 11:05, 11 October 2007 (EDT)

Hey, think nothing of it! By the way there is spam around all the time, so keep your eyes open.--Willyhead 11:08, 11 October 2007 (EDT)
How do you get ranks? I want in! Oh, dear, I feel a fic coming on. And i'm in the middle of a story already! Not fair. Somercy 11:09, 11 October 2007 (EDT)
Feel free to take any of them. I'm not sure who deserves the anti-spam King userbox though... I'll have to check who's reverted the most spam I guess :P--Willyhead 11:13, 11 October 2007 (EDT)
One problem, of course - with the addition of the Captcha plug-in, there should be no more spam in the future. Vandalism, sure. The nonsense bot is going crazy the past couple of days, but it's not spam. Maybe we should change it to the Anti-Vandal Army, though that doesn't have the same ring to it... --TheRealLurlock Talk 13:46, 11 October 2007 (EDT)
Of course, we cannot hope for spam just to have an Anti-spam army! Getting rid of spam is a big relief actually. Anti-vandal army is quite a good idea though. --Mankar Camoran 14:47, 11 October 2007 (EDT)
Yeah, I'll change it to 'anti-vandal army'- it doesn't have the same ring to it, but an anti-vandal army would be a lot more versatile. I'm also aware that Playjex has an anti vandal userbox ;).--Willyhead 14:58, 11 October 2007 (EDT)

Hurry Back![edit]

I just saw your latest update and wanted to say Thank You for the work you've done on the site. Hopefully you'll still play Oblivion every so often and come back to make a few edits, but if not I'm sure we'll see you when TESV comes out! Good luck in whatever you decide to do next. --RpehTCE 11:02, 24 November 2007 (EST)

So that's why you haven't been too active recently. I was wondering. Thanks for all the work you have done here and I hope you return soon! --Mankar CamoranTCE 11:09, 24 November 2007 (EST)
Thanks for the comments guys, I will pop in quite often but just not as regularly as I usually do, and yes I will be more than active when TES V comes out! ;)--Willyhead 11:39, 8 December 2007 (EST)

Spelling[edit]

Thanks for fixing all those spelling mistakes I made on the Arena pages. You'll have to forgive me, as English isn't my first (or second for that matter) language. Anyways, thanks! Vesna 17:16, 23 December 2007 (EST)

It's really no problem- a lot of them were just simple typos anyway. thanks for adding all that info on Arena too, it's greatly expanded the arena section of the wiki!--Willyhead 17:19, 23 December 2007 (EST)
Oh and btw, you get to choose the character's face after you roll the stats. It is the last step in the character process. I'll go ahead and add it. When I have more time to explore the Arena, I'll add a lot more info onto the char creation and magic page. I'm still level 5..... Vesna 17:22, 23 December 2007 (EST)
Whoops! Sorry, haven't played it in a while... ;)--Willyhead 17:24, 23 December 2007 (EST)

Warm Welcome[edit]

Odd.bod I only started today and didn't expect to get something on my Talk Page yet! Anyway, thanks for the welcome!

No prob! Have a great time on the wiki Odd.bod.--Willyhead 13:30, 12 January 2008 (EST)

Congratulations[edit]

It's official, you're now a patroller :) Feel free to ask if you have any questions! --NepheleTalk 19:06, 15 January 2008 (EST)

Thanks Nephele, and thanks to everyone else who supported me. Time to get to get to work.--Willyhead 10:52, 16 January 2008 (EST)

Things To do When You're Bored[edit]

Well I don't wanna interrupt you doing your stuff, but this was a really big article, even the site itself said that it was too big and might needed split up. I did that so don't change it please -,-' it took me some time...

Apologies for adding the notice, I just didn't think the page was really big enough for breaking up like the Roleplaying page was. I'll leave you to it, good luck.--Willyhead 06:52, 9 February 2008 (EST)

why did you delete my statement?[edit]

In the easter eggs why did you delete the statement about the queen song?

The phrase "bit the dust" was around before the members of Queen were even born! It is a common phrase that is used to describe when people die (for example if a guy dies you could say "He bit the dust"), and so it's highly unlikely that it was put into Oblivion as a reference to the queen song. Have a look here. Someone else had the same idea of adding it to the page.--Willyhead/t 13:16, 2 June 2008 (EDT)

Why did you delete the sentence I wrote about the captain (in the Anvil non-journal quest regarding illegal shipment) having unique clothing? It WAS relevant! Don't you think people who collect things in the game (like me) want to know that? SwedishBerzerker at youtube.com 10:38, 17 April 2009 (EDT)

It isn't relevant to the quest, only to the NPC. –RpehTCE 11:33, 17 April 2009 (EDT)
Plus (despite being rare) it isn't unique gear (see here and here).--Willyhead/t 15:33, 17 April 2009 (EDT)

Good to see Welsh ES fans[edit]

Stumbled on your edits to a quest page (looking at Darkness Eternal) and thought I'd look at profiles. Maybe we'll be seeing more Celt-likes in Skyrim. (P.S. Your sandbox tip reminds me of the Scrolls of Icarian flight[[1]], great fun for Morrowind players)--Lowspoke 01:55, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
