I have a problem in Anvill with the Thievesguild quest

I have took care of Lex. I have collected my reward from Skrivva in Bravil. That quest is completed. I have now returned in Anvill, looking for my new fence Orrin. But Orin lies dead on the ground in the Anvill Castle. When I take him back by console command "player.placeatme 0000a2a1" then I can't barter to him. When I call another fence by "player.placeatme 0000a10a" then I can't either.....I can admire, I can ask something but I can't barter. What now ? Do you have a solution for me ?

regards,

Ronald

You might try clicking on Orrin and then using the console command resurrect. Let us know if that works. --RpehTCE 09:35, 22 October 2007 (EDT)

Thank you for answering, but it doesn't work. When I click on Orrin and type in the console Resurrect then it gives: Script, Line 1, Function 'ResurrectActor' requires a refernce. I hope you can further help

You ned to make sure his name is displayed at the top of the screen. Go into console mode, then click on his body and it should display "Orrin" at the top, together with a string of numbers. When it's doing that, then try the resurrect command. There's something clever you can do with the prid command, but I don't know what... --RpehTCE 10:41, 22 October 2007 (EDT)

I am very gratefull. Problem is solved. I waited untill I had fenced the whole amount for letting you know now...cause I am wondering why I can barter now and not when I type the Placeatme command. Why is that do you think ?

The placeatme command generates a copy of a character, not the character itself. Sometimes special abilities like the ability to barter don't get copied. --RpehTCE 13:25, 22 October 2007 (EDT)

Well.... I thank you very much. So I wish you a pleasant day...

My next problem is in Ultimate Heist. I stand on the right place, but I never need bow-skills cause I always used swords and magic to destroy my enemies. Now I can not shoot far enough cause I am not skilled enough. How to fix this problem ?

You can always shoot far enough - it's just easier if you're more skilled with a bow. The trick here is practice. Using some normal arrows (iron, steel or whatever you have), take some practice shots aiming up to two inches above the mark. When you see the impact dust, adjust your aim up or down until you hit the right spot. Then, without moving your cursor, switch to the Arrow of Extrication and shoot for real. You may want to save before trying so you can reload it you still miss. Good luck! You might want to ask questions like this on the article's talk page rather than your own in future - there are often good tips already there. --RpehTCE 09:46, 26 October 2007 (EDT)

Then perhaps I shoot at the wrong target. There is a blue light at the ceiling and a blue light at the statue. To wich blue light I must shoot. And what is the dutch translation of "lit" ???

I don't know Dutch translations, but I know this-- Saskia and Zoidberg are from the Netherlands. They'd know Dutch. 10:02, 26 October 2007 (EDT)

But to WHAT exactly must I shoot ? The blue light at the Statue ?

You're aiming to hit the blue light on the statue but you will have to aim above that. --RpehTCE 10:07, 26 October 2007 (EDT)

I have discovered that I can shoot further away when I press the CTRL button. Thank you for your help. I opened the door. Thanks to your help.

I did what you advised and went to the Ultimate Heist page for asking my question but No one can't help me there. So I am getting back to you. My problem is that I can't sit in the reading chair. I allready did this quest twice. I don't want to do this quest a third time. Do you have a solution for this or perhaps the Item ID of the Elder Scroll I have to bring to the Gray Fox.
