Damaged disc

Even a very small part of the disc contains a lot of information, as data are quite densely packed on the surface of a DVD. Further, it is written from the center outwards, so while a scratch on the outer edge may not damage a part with content, a problem near the center will always provoke issues. --Gez 17:01, 23 March 2009 (EDT)

Yeah, the odd thing is that it doesn't occur consistently... so I really think it's more of my Xbox than the disc itself. For instance, Methredel was causing my game to crash about an hour ago, but then when she ran up to tell me some stuff the game went along fine. Quazilla 17:50, 23 March 2009 (EDT)
