Story for Helen Cario[edit]

u asked me for a story so here it is :)

Helen Cario is an Imperial woman with alot to prove, her parents left for the land of Hammerfell when Helen was just 16 but she convinced them to leave her behind. Alone and afraid she decided to enlist in the honorable Fighter's Guild for shelter.

Despite the kindness of the Fighter's Guild matron Vilena Donton, Helen needed money, she was too proud to beg, but brave enough to try a contract. After passing her contract with flying colours, Vivlena Donton herself requested an audience with her. Vilena proposed to Helen that if she accompanies her son Viranus on his dangerous contract then Helen will be rewarded greatly. Helen couldn't refuse, she accompanied Viranus into a goblin filled mine and they searched for the lost recruits who hadn't come back, Helen quickly located them using both wits and agility and quickly dispatched their captors alongside Viranus. During their long journey home Viranus admitted he was very impressed with her amazing skills in combat.

They began to talk and it became clear to Helen that her feelings for Viranus were more than just comradeship. During their long journey home it began to rain violently. Helen and Viranus quickly took shelter in a nearby inn. They got to talking and accidentally Helen let out her feelings for Viranus. He eagerly admitted he had feelings for her too, they embraced each other, the rain ended as quickly as it had come so they departed the inn. When they arrived back at the Fighter's Guild they told Vilena that they were goin to be engaged and Vilena was thrilled. She promised them an early retirement but insisted they had to finish one last contract because the fighter's guild had a reputation of never defaulting on their contracts.

Viranus insisted that Helen didn't go on the last contract and she reluctantly agreed. Three days later Helen was sitting at her desk when Vilena burst up the stairs sobbing. She approached Helen and told her Viranus had died in combat during the last contract, a scout had come back and revealed the information the Vilena only seconds earlier. Helen burst into tears; she couldn't believe Viranus was actually dead. She stormed out of the Fighter's Guild hall and out of Anvil altogether. She ran into the nearest cove and fell to her knees sobbing when a bandit sneaked up on her and assaulted her, She slowly and calmly arose, turned around, unsheathed her sword then, in a fit of rage swung her sword at the bandit repeatedly until all that remained of the bandit was a unrecognisable bloody mess quickly being eaten by rats.

Helen had to clear her mind so she decided to back-pack across Cyrodiil and she did so for many years, sleeping in caves and eating off the land. She hadn't met any other being since the bandit incident; she was having a quick swim in Niben Bay when a strange door appeared. Being naturally courageous Helen instantly went to the small island the door appeared and began to explore. A voice boomed at her, daring her to enter, having nothing to lose Helen entered the mysterious void and little did she know at the time, she had just entered the fabled Shivering Isles! A place that, in the near future, she would become the Duchess of. Many years after her rise to power in the Shivering Isles, Helen felt she was ready to love again and decided to travel back to Cyrodiil and once again, rejoin the fighter's guild.

The once strong, majestic Vilena was now a frail, elderly woman, she instantly recognised Helen before she even had a chance to speak and despite being missing for sevaral years, Vilena bestowed her leadership of the Fighter's Guild.

Helen's life was very successful; she didn't credit luck, but her blade, her armor, and her wits.

I lke how your story is beginning. Once again, you've tied in into your others. Good job. --Oblivion nerd 16:34, 2 December 2008 (EST)

Tying stuff in means I have to use less ideas =p it entertains the writer and the reader! Oh, and besides, I think Hinder was an emotional masterpiece. Too bad about the next part of the story... `18:08, 2 December 2008 (EST)
