Unnacceptable comments[edit]

Daedryon, I know this has become a common topic on your talk page, but could you please not add demoralising comments to other peoples' userpages, even if they have vandalised the wiki. If you see a vandal, give them a notice, then stop. If they continue to vandalize, report it to an adminstrator who will take the necessary actions. Do not however add comments such as these two to peoples userpages.

Also your edit summary: *sigh* I'm gonna regret this later due to certain uptight admins here.is edging on being counted as an attack on the sites administrators.

In the future could you please think about what you write on the wiki. Thanks, - Game LordTalk|Contribs 04:00, 1 September 2008 (EDT)

Daedryon, in the light of your post on Game Lord's talk page, the first thing to realise is that you don't have freedom of speech on this wiki. Neither does Game Lord, neither do I and neither does anybody else. The Blocking Policy is pretty clear on what is and is not allowed. In this case, nobody is claiming you violated that policy, but it brings me to my second point. As JS Mill pointed out, for every right there is a corresponding responsibility - it's the second bit that everybody conveniently forgets.
The edits you made here and here are clear examples of Feeding the Trolls. They don't help to fix the problem and could easily inflame the situation by indicating to the people making the posts that their actions are having the desired effect of being annoying. The correct thing to do is give a warning and move on.
If you think this makes me (or any other admin) uptight, I'd remind you that we've been doing this longer than you and have a good idea of what works and what doesn't. Next time you feel inclined to post that kind of message, please realise that it's not necessary. –RpehTCE 09:53, 1 September 2008 (EDT)

Rank Userboxes[edit]

I would like to inform you that one or more Userboxes you are currently using on your Userpage has/have been replaced by a generic Rank Userbox. Consensus is to delete the old userboxes after a week from now. Check the new Template for details on how to modify your Userboxes. --Timenn < talk > 10:23, 15 September 2008 (EDT)
