Welcome![edit]

Hello! Welcome to UESPWiki. Thanks for your contribution about Telrav's name here. A patroller either did not understand why your note "mattered," or they may have thought that it did not belong on the page. However, in my opinion, it does, but it would be better if you also included the definition of "varlet". I have started a discussion about that, here. Feel free to participate in the discussion.

You are welcome and encouraged to make more contribution to the wiki. It is not necessary to create an account, but there are advantages to doing so. One of the main advantages is that it lets you be a "name" to the rest of us, not just a number, so it's easier to make friends on here and to become part of the community. By registering for an account, you also get the right to vote on certain decisions that are made by the community here. To create an account, use the link at the top-right of your page. You will not get any spam or anything like that. In fact, you do not even need to give your email if you don't want to.

The following may be useful to you in editing, if you have not yet seen them. But on the other hand, you can also continue to make contributions, just like the one you already made (or tried to make).

If you, on the other hand, would like to spice up your userpage, take a look at this link:

  • Userboxes: near complete list of userboxes, including a guide to make your own

When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~ (or, more conveniently, use the "signature" button at the top of every editing window). Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it, because it gives them fewer changes to review if we catch as many of our mistakes as possible before saving).

Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox or discuss the games in the forums. If you need any help, or have any questions or comments, please don't hesitate to contact me or one of our mentors.

Have fun! --JRTalk E-mail 03:31, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
