12th Evening Star 3E 388[edit]

Six days today until my birthday! Today I finally got the letter back from Emperor Uriel Septim, well somebody on his behalf; I will be starting work as a servant in the IMPERIAL PALACE on the 4th Morning Star. It won't be the best job in the world but as soon as I get enough money I can pay my mother so she can finally get out of that terrible job she is forced to do.

Daggerfall is boring at this time, especially as Vortel moved to Hammerfell. Good ol' Vortel; his family were the most humble High Elves I've ever met. I'm glad his legs recovered from that cave exploration we did 4 years ago, when I was a 16 year old idiot. At least I still have that silver amulet I wear everyday. It's a nice souvenir from a terrible cave exploration. I can remember like the back of my hand; me and Vortel entered the cave, a couple of imps slayed - then a rock falls on Vortel's legs, I managed to pull him from the rock and we continued down to the clearing of the cave. Where a huge minotaur stood! If it weren't for another rock falling and instantly killing that minotaur - we'd be dead! Well after that bad encounter; we found a huge treasure chest full of 400 gold pieces, this silver amulet and two gold rings. When I took the loot I felt a connection between me and the Amulet. I gave 200 gold pieces to Vortel and the two gold rings.

A nice and fateful tale, anyway I must sleep to wake up early tomorrow morning.

Today was an alright day, I had to go to the shop for mother. She's busy all day at that terrible job, I really need to get her out. She's been working all her life just for me, especially because Dad died before I was born.

I'm going to place the only photo left of father in this book. User-Vituis-VituisDad.jpg

He looks a lot like me apparently --> User-Vituis-Vituis.jpg I suppose he does a little bit.

I've got to go now to eat dinner. I'll write tomorrow.
