Leveling up in Oblivion will provide the player with a chance to increase his/her Abilities based on how he/she chose to level up. Aside from this, there are some things that are also changed along with the player's level up. This article will document the additions to the game associated with each level from the previous level. All items, quests, and creatures noted in previous levels still exist in new levels.

Level 1

Every player starts out at Level 1.

Armor you can purchase/loot:

• Fur Armor
• Iron Armor

Creatures encountered:

• Deer
• Mudcrabs
• Rats
• Slaughterfish
• Imps
• Goblins
• Skeletons
• Stunted Scamps

Level 2

Level Requirement Quests Available:

• Azura's Daedric Quest (Level 2)
• Sheogorath's Daedric Quest (Level 2)

New creatures encountered:

• Wolves

Level 3

New armor you can purchase/loot:

• Leather Armor
• Steel Armor

Level 4
