Welcome![edit]

Hello! Welcome to UESPWiki. It's always good to have new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:

If you, on the other hand, would like to spice up your userpage, take a look at this link:

 • Userboxes: near complete list of userboxes, including a guide to make your own

When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox and don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors if you need any help. Have fun! --ModderElGrandeTalk contribs 14:37, 13 March 2010 (UTC)

infinit SI money[edit]

hello! I WAS JUST THINKING ugh caps lock! anyways i'm pretty sure that i found a good way to make money first go punch a golden saint or a dark seducer in the face and go to jail then go breack out of jail and kill the golden saint graud and sell theere wepon!(is this already listed some where if not it sould be!)GUM!!! 14:44, 14 March 2010 (UTC)

While you can certainly do that, or at least I think you can, there are so many respawning monsters and the like and the jail is so long that this would never be considered a good way to do it.
Also, you should try asking questions like this on the relevant talk page, for example Shivering:Crime. Only a very few people (mostly the staff or long-time users of UESPWiki) will notice questions that you ask on your own talk page. Robin HoodTalk 23:41, 16 March 2010 (UTC)

ok thanks for the tipGUM!!! 02:10, 17 March 2010 (UTC)

i just read this again and saw that you put staff?UESP has workers that get paid?wow--GUM!!! 18:15, 26 April 2010 (UTC)

Actually, someone on here found an easier way. If you complete the Order of the Virtuous Blood quest in by realizing Seridur is the vampire (Roland CANNOT DIE or it will not work), then Roland will pay you 250 gold for each portion of vampire dust you bring him. If you have the Staff of Worms (or the Risen Flesh Greater Power from the Shivering Isles), you can Reanimate the vampire's corpse. Once the spell wears out and the corspe goes lifeless again, there will be more vampire dust. It's much more convenient to do this with the Staff of Worms, as Risen Flesh can only be used onced per day. Reanimate the corspe to get as much vampire dust as you want, and then sell it back to Roland to make a ton of money!Facebag 18:13, 27 May 2010 (UTC)

no there's a easyer way just use the scroll glithch on vampire dust and then give it to him...it's alot easyer--GUM!!! 18:53, 27 May 2010 (UTC)

Signature[edit]

Hi, I just wanted to point out that when you post a comment, your signature links to whatever page you are on, for example Tribunal talk:Unique Items page, your sig links to Tribunal:GUM!!!. I don't know what you did, but you probably should fix it.--Arch-Mage MattTalk 01:26, 23 March 2010 (UTC)

sorry can you rephrase that?i don't get what youre saying and i didn't do anything--GUM!!! 01:29, 23 March 2010 (UTC)
Look at the link I provided, and click on your signature under your post, it should lead to Tribunal:GUM!!!, not User:GUM!!!--Arch-Mage MattTalk 01:33, 23 March 2010 (UTC)
(edit conflict) Can you post your raw signature from your preferences in <code></code> tags? Elliot 01:35, 23 March 2010 (UTC)
wow that's weird and here you go<font color=pink>GUM!!!</font> 01:29, 23 March 2010 (UTC) and i think that's what you want(i just copied and pasted it cause i don't know much about the uesp code stuff)
Hmmm, that's weird. Have you ever used the NAMESPACE coding? Elliot 01:42, 23 March 2010 (UTC)

i don't even know what that is--GUM!!! 01:43, 23 March 2010 (UTC)

Copy this and paste in my preferences:

ok i did is tis better?--GUM!!! 01:49, 23 March 2010 (UTC)

I don't know... try posting it in a oblivion talk article, see if it links to your page. Just post something and once either of us checks it we can undo it.--Arch-Mage MattTalk 01:51, 23 March 2010 (UTC)

No, that was wrong. From what I've seen, it looks like in your preferences, it was set to <font color=pink>GUM!!!. it should display: <font color=pink>GUM!!! in that box. The User: portion forces it to link to the user namespace; if it's not specified, it links to the namespace of the article you're editing. --GKtalk2me 01:52, 23 March 2010 (UTC)

ok i will try it on the things to do when youre borad page--GUM!!! 01:56, 23 March 2010 (UTC)

ok i put the test thing on the page so please cheak it out--GUM!!! 01:59, 23 March 2010 (UTC)

Your all set.--Arch-Mage MattTalk 02:16, 23 March 2010 (UTC)

ok good--GUM!!! 11:37, 23 March 2010 (UTC)

Userboxes[edit]

You can do this to line them up nicely on the right. -- Nx / talk 15:57, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

well i don't really want them going down i like them going across--GUM!!! 17:26, 25 March 2010 (UTC)
The gaps are the result of some userboxes (the ones with three lines of text, for example) being slightly taller. I don't know if there's a way to make them flow nicely, but without the gaps. You can split them up into multiple columns, but of course that will have a fixed width. Usually userboxes are stacked vertically. -- Nx / talk 18:01, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

hmm.. well there's one other thing i could ddo--GUM!!! 18:54, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

well there a bit beter now--GUM!!! 19:06, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

GUM!!! i'm Golden Eagle and I was wondering if you could put the 'This user wishes that he could play Dwemer' user box on my user page or tell me what the code is. Thanks Golden Eagle 07:25, 30 April 2010 (UTC)

Old Things[edit]

You recently commented on a very old discussion at oblivion people, in the future please check the dates.--TheAlbinoOrc 18:10, 26 March 2010 (UTC)

oh sorry i didn't know that the dates mattered but i'll cheak the dates from now on(if i remember)--GUM!!! 21:17, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, it's sort of a debatable thing, but typically anything more than a few months to maybe a year old is considered "stale". Now having said that, there are cases where it's perfectly reasonable to answer something that's old, like if you're responding to a long-standing question with new information, like my recent edit here. If you're doing so, it can be good to make reference to the fact that you know it's old and that you feel it's important enough to respond to. Your edit to the Paranoia talk page is another example. While you didn't provide concrete evidence, you at least gave a rationale as to why it probably wouldn't work, which adds new information to an unresolved question. user boxs?[edit]

hi sorry i didn't know where else to put this but i would like some help makeing a user box cause every time i try to make one it failed and the one on the user box page didn't really make since to me--GUM!!! 23:43, 27 March 2010 (UTC)

Here is an example from my page.

it appears:

OB-class-Mage.jpg This user is a Mage.

so to make userboxes, replace all those numbers (001, 099, 1,) and experimant until you find a color you like. Then take the image section and replace it with anything you want, for example this: . It would look like this:

Then Change the color...

Change the description, and it should come out like this.

OB-creature-Dog.jpg This user wish HE had a pet dog!

Ask me anything further here.--Arch-Mage MattTalk 00:29, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

GUM??[edit]
