Stats[edit]

I couldn't find any information about Holmar's Heatlh or Magicka (or other stats, for that matter). Is there a reason for this, or have I done something wrong? --Eshetalk21:04, 8 October 2007 (EDT)

Not sure where you're getting your stats from, but it's all there in the CS. He is an auto-calc NPC, which means some of this stuff might not export if you're exporting data separately. But it definitely does show in the CS. Incidentally, a few shortcuts you should know about if you're doing these NPC pages - The trail can be removed when you add the NPC Summary, as the template does that automatically. Also, ID is no longer necessary on Morrowind NPC pages if it's the same as the name only in lower-case. (Just made that change today.) Anyhow, I filled in your missing info. Let me know if you still have trouble finding it. --TheRealLurlock Talk 22:23, 8 October 2007 (EDT)
Ah...I think it was because I was using MWEdit instead of the actual CS...whoops :). I'll go back and make those changes. I figured I should stop before doing a lot more of them, since I knew I'd probably need to fix some stuff. Thanks for your help! --Eshetalk22:38, 8 October 2007 (EDT)

Disabled after quest?[edit]

Is Holmar supposed to disappear from the game if you finish the quest, "Wood Elf with a Grievance"? Only by choosing the 'Saryoni's Sermons' path? Can't seem to find this bloody nord anywhere. :P -Deltahost (talk) 11:01, 24 December 2013 (GMT)

Holmar disappeared from the game for me after I finished this quest by knocking him out via fighting. The dialogue and scripts are a little convoluted, but I think I figured it out.
There are three scripts involved here: High-Pockets' script, Holmar's script, and a "cell-check" script.
If you don't agree to help High-Pockets in the first place (stage 110), Holmar's script disables Holmar.
If High-Pockets gets religion and gives you his clothes (stage 100), then Holmar's script disables Holmar. The cell-check script will also tell High-Pockets' script to disable High-Pockets.
If you knock Holmar out (I think either way, booze or fighting, works), talk to High-Pockets, and get the ring and money, then this dialogue sets the stage to 200. Once the stage is at 200, then the next time there is a cell change - like when you walk out of the Winged Guar - the cell-check script tells Holmar's script to disable Holmar, and tells High-Pockets' script to disable High-Pockets.
So, it looks like both Holmar and High-Pockets disappear if you complete the quest with either outcome.
