Bugs/Limitations Section?[edit]

Would such a section be appropriate for the page proper? I've stumbled upon a few obnoxious limitations and/or bugs while playing with MWEdit (or at least these are things I haven't found an easy solution to):

  • It is inefficient for actual worldbuilding, since it lacks the drag-and-drop interface of the official Construction Set.
  • A creature's Fatigue box only displays the lower Byte of the actual Fatigue - so a creature with 1000 Fatigue (0x3E8) will display only having 232 Fatigue (0xE8).
  • Dialogue cannot be attributed to creatures. So trying to add or alter dialogue for, say, Yagrum Bagarn will cause problems.
  • Textures, meshes, etc. cannot be taken directly from the game's .bsa files. If you want to use a default texture for something, you will need to use a separate BSA extractor and add the file to the Morrowind/Data Files folder (though you can later delete the file, since the game knows how to find them in the .bsa).
