Summary

Provides the difference between two dates in words. It's current primary use is in other templates, but it can be used as a standalone template as well.

Parameters

ForYMD

Parameter	Scope	Description
year month day	optional	The earlier year, month, and day of the two dates. (Defaults to the date of the very first edit on the wiki if not specified.)
year2 month2 day2	optional	The later year, month, and day of the two dates. (Defaults to current date if not specified.)
unitsep	optional	The character to use between the number and its corresponding unit, such as "5 years". (Defaults to HTML-coded space ( ) if not specified.)

Example

UESP has been online for {{ForYMD}}.

UESP has been online for 19 years, 3 months, and 13 days.

World War I lasted for {{ForYMD|year=1914|month=7|day=28|year2=1918|month2=11|day2=11}}.

World War I lasted for 4 years, 3 months, and 14 days.
