Actual NPC[edit]

Is she an actual NPC? Because I can't find an NPC editor ID for her in the creation kit. I can only find message editor ID BYOHHouseBanditAttack2BossName. When I use the BaseID to locate the NPC version of her, there is no actual model of what she would look like. — KunvuloninKünvülänin 20:25, 13 March 2013 (GMT)

There are a few NPCs like this. A message adds her name to a dungeons boss, she doesn't "exist" in the data, but she does exist in-game. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 20:30, 13 March 2013 (GMT)
Hmm, okay. Thanks. I was going to see if I can spawn her so I could get an image. But that doesn't look like it would be possible. — KunvuloninKünvülänin 20:37, 13 March 2013 (GMT)
If you force start the quest perhaps? Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 20:46, 13 March 2013 (GMT)
I've never had this quest before, so I'm also unsure of how to force it to start? — KunvuloninKünvülänin 21:04, 13 March 2013 (GMT)

() The question about how to trigger the quest is asked in the talk page of the quest too. A good question, by the way, but is it good enough to be marked as such there? —MortenOSlash (talk) 18:00, 2 April 2013 (GMT)

A question of how to use the console to force a quest to start isn't a good question, as it is not using gameplay mechanics but something that is outside of the gameworld, i.e. the console. Jeancey (talk) 18:02, 2 April 2013 (GMT)
I was actually thinking of in game triggers, not console. —MortenOSlash (talk) 18:08, 2 April 2013 (GMT)
From what I can tell, it is a random occurrence when you enter the cell of the house your spouse is living in, same as any world event. Jeancey (talk) 18:11, 2 April 2013 (GMT)
Are these actually the same bandit attacks I get when I enter the cell of one of one of my houses where I do not have any spouse in, only the note is added, my spouse removed and quest started IF there is a spouse there? (I have only lived in cities with my family. The HF houses have until now been built just for fun (and achievements).) —MortenOSlash (talk) 18:22, 2 April 2013 (GMT)
I think it is the same trigger, yes. If you have a spouse, then this quest is triggered, and if not, the other one is. I think. Not 100% though. Jeancey (talk) 18:34, 2 April 2013 (GMT)

Respawn?[edit]

Does this character, and her associated quest, respawn? My home was attacked by her and some bandits long before my character married, so I'm wondering if she'll re-appear in spite of her embarrassingly far-flung demise, or if that means I've prevented the quest from ever occurring? -- Haravikk (talk) 20:41, 8 October 2013 (GMT)

From looking at the quest on CSList, it looks like she probably doesn't. Rochelle the Red is referred to as BanditBossNew, and has Fill Type: Created Object of Bandit Chief. So she's just a created NPC with that name. However, there's no other Rochelle the Red anywhere in CSList. So the fact that you encountered her somewhere means that her associated quest started, but you never got the ransom note because you weren't married so that part of the quest never happened. As far as I know that quest never happens twice, so now you're immune to it. --Morrolan (talk) 21:53, 8 October 2013 (GMT)
