Invest?[edit]

Could somebody verify? He's listed as a merchant to invest in, but in two playthroughs now I have yet to see the investment dialogue option with Sadri once I have the perk. ComaDivine 02:41, 16 January 2012 (UTC)

yeah, same with me.--FelixH 18:30, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
Currently testing to see if multiple investments stack, when he does have the dialogue option. Will make a note in bugs about rather or not it stacks, once his inventory resets. It would be nice to know if there's a way to get a vendor with tons of gold for alchemy-based profitting! Note: PC, 1.1.21.0 version.75.70.89.124 00:47, 3 June 2013 (GMT)
It definitely doesn't stack. You're just wasting your 500 gold. As this 'reinvestment' bug is fixed in some patches (unofficial?), this is a moot point. Considering going to new versions but really hate Steam. My brother got the game so no I didn't get it knowing it was Steam-based so don't hate on me.  ;) 75.70.89.124 08:15, 8 June 2013 (GMT)

Fence?[edit]

Is he a fence? It turns out that in my current game he does have about 8000 gold available. I don't have any Merchant perks but completed all 4 TG special missions so other fences have about 4000 gold.--31.128.131.102 04:04, 24 February 2012 (UTC)

Correction, I am sure that at least twice he did have more than 8000 but when I was visiting him another time it was only 856. So, it is kind of unclear on what it depends.--89.23.179.119 07:19, 25 February 2012 (UTC)
Did you speech train with him?? At one point I was using him for a speech trainer and the money that I spent training was then available when I sold him items. Was a convenient way to save on training at the higher levels? Deanmakoma (talk) 03:12, 5 January 2013 (GMT)

Bug with Speech training?[edit]

I completed Skyrim:That Was Always There and he doesn't offer me Speech training. Does anybody observe this behavior? — Unsigned comment by Hogart (talkcontribs) at 16:05 on 25 December 2012‎

Wierd Dialog[edit]

Sadri is my husband and most of the time I have him and my children at Lakeview Manor. When I move the family to another home his dialog Becomes "The sky is so dark, the sky is so dark, why is the sky do dark" then he goes on and on about the sky. It doesn't affect the actual move but the whole think is wierd. Also, when subtitles are turned on the correct dialog appears on the screen, while he is going on about the sky being so dark. Doesn't affect gameplay really, it's just wierd Deanmakoma (talk) 03:10, 5 January 2013 (GMT)

In addition to the above user's experience, another user posted the same thing as a bug to the Marriage page earlier (which was then moved to this article and now here to the talk page): "If you are married to Revyn, and ask him to "move somewhere else", he will respond with variations of "Why is the sky so dark?" instead of the proper dialogue."
Looking through the Creation Kit quickly, this is clearly related to Dawnguard and almost certainly has to do with using Auriel's Bow to shoot the sun. Even if there's a bug with that, and the player doesn't actively have an eclipse going on, I don't see any reason this would be specific to Revyn, so I've moved it here pending confirmation that there wasn't an active eclipse, and that it never happens with anyone else. No more speech training[edit]

After siding with the Empire and conquering Windhelm (at least I guess that this has to be the reason), Revyn Sadri does no longer have the dialogue option for speech training in my game. However, his other dialogue options seem to remain unchanged.— Unsigned comment by 188.100.236.135 (talk) at 13:20 on 9 March 2013

What level is your speech skill? He only trains up to level 50 I believe. Jeancey (talk) 20:25, 9 March 2013 (GMT)
Oh, now that you mention it. I just saw that somewhen during the most recent of my adventures I have apparantly picked up an item giving me additional speech skill points and raising them above 50. I guess, this can be deleted now. Thanks a lot.— Unsigned comment by 188.100.236.135 (talk) at 13:43 on 9 March 2013

Store closed during the day?[edit]

I've noticed in several playthroughs that Sadri's Used Wares is closed during certain days. This doesn't happen on the weekend, and I don't know what factors determine whether his shop is closed. He's supposed to be open from 8 AM to 8 PM like all other shops, but I've had him lock the door on me at 10 AM and stay closed for the rest of the day, which was especially frustrating as I was trying to do his quest for him. Why would he close in the middle of the day?FrozenWolf150 (talk) 14:22, 25 September 2015 (UTC)

No speech training option after marriage.[edit]

I had the dialogue option to train with him before I married him, but after doing so and moving him into my house its no longer there. Is this a bug, or is this typical of marryable trainers? Faendovche (talk) 05:22, 16 January 2017 (UTC)

Training doesn't always train[edit]

I went to buy speech training from him. The first two sessions went fine, but the third time he took my money, the number of training sessions went from 2/5 to 3/5, but my speech did not increase. And yes, I'm below 50.:) I autosaved and quicksaved, and this happened over and over again. Emma of Falkreath (talk) 03:57, 23 April 2018 (UTC) Emma
