Radiancy[edit]

Would be okay to work this page as a normal quest page like Skyrim:For the Good of Morthal instead of a Radiant one? I don't see the same necessity for Radiant options since its not structured like Skyrim:A Few Words with You.--Bwross 07:20, 26 December 2011 (UTC)

That is perfectly alright - sometimes, radiant quests are not really as 'radiant' and should be treated like any other quest page. --Krusty 09:50, 26 December 2011 (UTC)
I removed the radiant options section "this quest is radiant but is only given to you by one person and goes to the same place" isnt really radiant. (Eddie The Head 06:45, 11 January 2012 (UTC))

Fourth Dialogue Option?[edit]

Is the fourth option to convince Aldis (the one saying "that's an order") only available to members of the Legion? It seems to me that might be the case (since I did not get this option on my unaligned character, IIRC) but I need confirmation. Is there a certain rank the player must be, as well? 72.42.155.45 23:42, 8 September 2013 (GMT)

It doesn't appear to be. I took my brand new level 1 character to Solitude and started the quest, and still had the "Tell me about her daughter, Captain. That's an order" option. I hadn't joined either side, or even gotten the quests to do so. I also made sure I dropped the Imperial armor I had picked up escaping from Helgen, so there was no way that Aldis could have mistaken me for an Imperial officer. As a side note, Aldis still said "Yes, sir" even though he was talking to a naked Breton woman. --Xyzzy Talk 00:32, 9 September 2013 (GMT)

stage 200[edit]

Using the console command setstage, I found stage 200 did end the quest... by failing it. Stage 30, however, completed it successfully. So I switched the numbers on the page for accuracy. --SCarverOrne (talk) 07:56, 19 May 2015 (GMT)

This is definitely a weird one. Thanks for the updates. I've changed it around again slightly so that it still matches what's in the Creation Kit, but notes that Stage 30 actually completes the quest. Robin Hood  (talk) 08:47, 19 May 2015 (GMT)

The Effects of Aldis's Death[edit]

Captain Aldis was killed by a dragon before I ever started the quest, and since I didn't get any notifications (the way you get a notification for Lights Out! if Deeja dies) I assumed that meant I would never be able to it this playthrough. But then, walking past Vivienne, she said "Thanks for helping my aunt earlier" as if I had finished the quest. In the console, the getstage function returns 200 (failed quest).--Shahrazad the Listener (talk) 01:01, 11 February 2019 (UTC)
