Mage Armor Perk[edit]

I will be testing this myself, but want to ask in case someone already knows the answer. Does this locket disable the Mage Armor perk? I will be checking it myself, but I have to wait 3 levels to do so, so it will be some time before i can. Especially since I have errands to run tomorrow. 208.54.39.249 07:29, 10 July 2012 (UTC)

Since the amulet of articulation doesn't, my guess would be that this doesn't either--Anil (talk) 17:18, 19 September 2012 (GMT)
In my heavily modded game it doesn't effect Mage Armor, but someone running vanilla should double check. 99.148.193.234 04:57, 4 December 2012 (GMT)
On a related note, I noticed that when I got hit wearing the amulet, it increased my Light Armor skill, despite the fact that I'm wearing all heavy armor. And it wasn't just a few times. It seems every time I get hit they aim right for the amulet. My Heavy Armor skill hasn't gone up once since I started wearing it. I think something is screwy with the way the game determines which armor skill to increase when you get hit... — TheRealLurlock (talk) 03:33, 25 February 2013 (GMT)
That is because the amulet is in fact Light Armor (and not Clothing like almost all the others). That means too, the armor will be higher with a higher Light Armor skill. But it lacks the ArmorLight keyword, so it doesn't benefit from any Light Armor perks, just from a higher skill. --Alfwyn (talk) 22:27, 4 January 2014 (GMT)

Not upgradible in vanilla SSE?[edit]

While playing SSE with only relationship dialogue overhaul installed, I can't find the locket in workbench item list.112.44.77.46 12:18, 6 May 2018 (UTC)

You can't temper the locket in either version of Skyrim. Robin Hood  (talk) 19:54, 6 May 2018 (UTC)
