Clearing Location[edit]

Did the Staff of Magnus quest here, but was not able to get the "cleared" dungeon status. Went through a second time to see if I missed any areas/enemies but didn't find any. Anyone else not able to "clear" it? (PS3 user)71.224.13.163 15:04, 2 March 2012 (UTC)Marcus

For me, i only got "cleared" after I cleaned out the Lost Valkygg section. It has its own map marker but its the Labyrinthian marker that gets the "cleared" tag. 86.20.31.219 22:55, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
I had a similar issue. I completed the Labyrinthian quest, and made sure to kill every enemy therein. (I backtracked through several times, and used the Aura Whisper shout to locate any missed Draugr.) It didn't mark as cleared. When I later cleared the Lost Valkygg interior, that cleared as normal. As soon as I went outside, the clear sound rang out again--I checked my map, and Labyrinthian was suddenly cleared as well. Perhaps Lost Valkygg and Labyrinthian need to be cleared for the latter to show as such? (This is on PC, coincidentally.) --50.88.131.73 03:49, 10 May 2014 (GMT)
Same thing here, running USKP 2.0.6. Going to add a note to the article. Kotekzot (talk) 23:48, 19 August 2014 (GMT)
I've just noticed I have a cleared tag for Labyrinthian, but I haven't entered it yet, although I did enter and complete both Shalidor's Maze and Lost Valkygg sometime ago with this character, so now wondering is it just a case of you getting this cleared after completing Lost Valkygg and vice versa? Do we really need the "place" bit in the article title?[edit]

Why is there a need to specify that this article is about the place Labrynthian? There's no other Labrynthian that this could be confused with, is there? What's the point of the disambiguation when there's no ambiguity? ThuumofReason 17:35, 2 March 2012 (UTC)

I'm about to start moving this to Skyrim:Labyrinthian and updating all the links and redirects. If anybody knows of any reason I shouldn't, speak now or make me undo it all later! –Eshetalk 15:49, 14 March 2012 (UTC)
I believe there was an unfinished quest by the name of Labyrinthian in the game data, causing the bot to come up with a disambiguation page for the quest and the location. Since the quest page has since been deleted as it doesn't appear in-game, a move seems okay. Wolok gro-Barok 15:54, 14 March 2012 (UTC)
Well, I've updated and purged everything and still can't seem to clear the last four links. Ugh. Anyway, it's done, and I'm prodding the redirects now. –Eshetalk 16:45, 14 March 2012 (UTC)

Stamina Glitch?[edit]

So just curious about a glitch i found today. While going through the starting area of Labrinthian Throughfare I noticed whenever i entered 1st Person i couldn't move and was losing stamina at a very fast rate. But as soon as i went into 3rd Person it was fine. . .Anyone else run into this? Any Idea's how to fix it? I'm on a PS3 btw if that helps at all. — Unsigned comment by 68.150.152.176 (talk) at 20:38 on 10 March 2012‎

Location[edit]

You should add where Labyrinthian is near, so people can find it easier. Just a thought.. :P — Unsigned comment by 207.118.181.34 (talk) at 02:22 on 30 May 2012

You mean to say you got lost on the way to the maze? :P. (location added by the way) The Silencer has spokenTalk 02:11, 30 May 2012 (UTC)

The special weapons in Labyrinthian[edit]

Are the ghostly draugr that appear near the end set as far as how many spawn and what ghostly weapons they carry? I only got like three Drainheart Swords, two Drainblood Battleaxe, and a single Drainspell Bow. That's obviously enough to get the bonus enchanting effects, but it just occurred to me to wonder if it's possible to get shafted and find out most of the way through the dungeon that you won't be getting anything but Drainblood Battleaxes or just two of the three unique weapons. Is it possible? Or are things set such that you will always get at least one of each, or a set number of each? I'll have to check my other character to get some idea, but I would rather not test this fully by doing the whole dungeon several times in succession, or would I only have to keep retrying the cell where they appear?--Playerseekingbugs (talk) 18:10, 2 March 2013 (GMT)

Since the place does not respawn, the only way is using console commands. Given that you came here to ask, I suppose you do not have the game on PC so... Yeah. 82.243.194.53 18:26, 2 March 2013 (GMT)
There are seven draugr. One is a regular one-handed leveled draugr. The six quest-related draugr include two one-handed, one one-handed ambush, one ranged, one two-handed ambush, and one two-handed. That makes for three swords, two axes, and one bow. Vely►t►e 18:42, 2 March 2013 (GMT)
Thank you for the reply. I suspected it was the last one of my three guesses on weapon numbers, but since I'm on 360 it's not really possible to be totally certain.--Playerseekingbugs (talk) 06:25, 3 March 2013 (GMT)

Center of Skyrim?[edit]

The page says, "It is approximately in the center of Skyrim, though slightly to the east." Is this information an opinion or is it from a source? If from a source, where is it sourced from? If opinion, this should be removed. Personally, I don't think Labyrinthian actually appears to be in the center of Skyrim.--draagyn (talk) 23:46, 27 February 2014 (GMT)

Yes, as the (map) shows, it is not really located in the center, the statement is not useful. --Alfwyn (talk) 16:04, 28 February 2014 (GMT)

No followers?[edit]

Is it worth mentioning that sometimes followers won't enter this dungeon?Chaosworrier (talk) 05:59, 18 May 2014 (GMT)

Missed necklace[edit]

In the Tribune, the throne room, there's some rubble to the left of the chest that's near the tree. You can climb up the rubble and there's a skeleton there, next to its neck I found a Silver Sapphire Necklace. Purely an accident, but a nice find anyway. -Riibu

Noticed as well that the article doesn't mention Silver Sapphire Necklace found to the right of the world wall behind rocks/rubble on a dead skeleton. --Cirkulis (talk) 00:23, 16 February 2015 (GMT)

Not necessary to kill or damage enthralled mages[edit]

Article says "He is being protected by an energy field being cast by two enthralled mages that are stood on walkways above. You will need to kill/damage these first in order to be able to harm Morokei." Actually this isn't true; all I had to do was stealthily walk behind each and attempt to interact with them. They immediately turned hostile, but I snuck away and they did not follow me. This broke the energy field. After Morokei was defeated, they were no longer hostile.23.228.165.159 03:25, 11 February 2015 (GMT)

Another chest found[edit]

In the graveyard with whispmother. There is a chest on the left of the coffin shelf's. I will place that in the article.

Can't Select Ring[edit]

In Labyrinthian Tribune: "Under the water you will find either in a stone bowl or on the bottom two pieces of malachite ore and a piece of gold ore, as well as a skeleton reaching toward a gold diamond ring."

I am unable to select this ring. Has anyone else had this problem? And if so, were you able to find a workaround?104.15.180.18 15:45, 14 September 2017 (UTC)

Hit it with a spell that does splash damage. Sorry for my post; as I have no clue on how to use this.73.66.87.225
I can't cast a spell underwater, right? Tried shouting unrelenting voice a few times. Nothing worked. Very frustrating. — Unsigned comment by 99.74.248.204 (talk) at 13:14 on 12 May 2020‎
