Mage Armor Perk?[edit]

Will Konahrik work with mage armor perk like a few select items such as Diadem Of The Savant. — Unsigned comment by 24.128.66.131 (talk) at 04:01 on 2 October 2012‎

Effects of the Mask[edit]

While the game files indicate that the mask has the power to summon a dragon priest, I have never found any evidence of this occurring. Are there any tests that could be done to determine whether this effect works and what the chances of it occurring are? It would also be good to know what the properties of the dragon priest are (e.g. whether it counts as a summon, what attacks it uses, etc). — Unsigned comment by BlackhawkXIII (talkcontribs) at 20:26 on 9 December 2012 (GMT)

After researching the effects of the mask and the nature of the Spectral Dragon priest, I have removed my previous question. I would like to request that a PC user add an image of the dragon priest summoned by the mask if they ever are able to trigger the effect. This would be an excellent contribution to the site since accurate information about and images of the dragon priest are actually quite uncommon. I found that the easiest way to summon the dragon priest is by using the Equilibrium/Healing loop and then getting into combat with a single, moderately tough creature that can survive damage from the flame cloak and do enough damage to reduce your health below 10% but not kill you. --BlackhawkXIII (talk) 22:58, 3 February 2013 (GMT)

Flinging effect - moved from article[edit]

Very rarely, the mask can summon a spectral Dragon Priest that will aid you in combat for 60 seconds, and will fling all nearby NPCs, and the wearer, into the air a short distance.

I'm moving the bolded info to the talk page because I did not experience this when I managed to get the Dragon Priest to appear, and couldn't find any evidence of this effect on CSList, unless it has something to do with the MagicSummonShock keyword. --Xyzzy Talk 00:30, 24 July 2013 (GMT)

Will it work on followers?[edit]

I'm just curious if the effects will do the same for followers as it will for the Dovahkiin. — Unsigned comment by 98.226.170.125 (talk) at 00:45 on 15 October 2013‎

I gave it to J'zargo after finishing Dragonborn and acquiring Miraak and I can confirm it does. (It's actually much better on a follower because they can safely trigger it's effect without harm and quite frequently do209.179.18.119 22:38, 22 January 2014 (GMT)

Creation Kit Values[edit]

Can anyone with the creation kit supply more exact values for this mask's effect, i.e - what are the actual random percentages involved for each of its possible effects? -- Haravikk (talk) 20:21, 18 December 2013 (GMT)

The way I read the CK data, once you have 15% or less of your health, there's a chance of 15% that the first set of effects is triggered (fakeForceBall1024, DragonPriestMaskUltraFlameCloak and GrandHealing), and a chance of 3% that both the first and the second set of effects trigger (ConjureDragonPriest). Both sets of effect require that this set is not currently active (no flame cloak / no conjured dragon priest). -- SarthesArai Talk 20:47, 18 December 2013 (GMT)
If we know the value for the chance for the effects to trigger, shouldn't this be mentioned on the main page? "A chance" is pretty vague. — Unsigned comment by 199.218.107.3 (talk) at 13:28 on 21 November 2016‎
The CK values sometimes are not the actual values due to the odd way Bethesda coders write it, often they use values between 0-99 instead of 1-100, which adds approximately 1% to the figure. So once someone comes along and confirms the actual chances then they can be added without conditions on the page. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 18:54, 21 November 2016 (UTC)
To return to this topic some years later, I would like to see this information on the article page - it's actually what I came here looking for and since we do have almost exact information, I'd humbly suggest a copy/paste of the specific info with a brief note regarding the slight variable potential, or even just a (~) or (+/-1%) to indicate such. I'm tempted to do it myself but I have been away a long while and do not wish to step on any toes.

oops yet again[edit]

I SOLD krosis and I know I cant get it back what to do... im on xboxFyjorki (talk) 03:15, 25 January 2014 (GMT)Fyjorki

Merchants will often hold on to unique items that you sold to them, even after their inventory resets. I went back months later and bought back some unique weapons that I had sold off (I think one of them was the Staff of Tandil, which I had sold to one of the College merchants). If you can't find the merchant you sold it to, or it's no longer in their inventory, and if you can't reload a save from before you sold it, then you'll have to live without it. equilibrium/konahrik combo???[edit]

i have noticed that the equilibrium spell drains each point of health individually.Does that health loss count towards the effect of the mask or is it just when you are hit by an enemy spell or hand-weapon (Itsmedovakhin (talk) 00:27, 24 January 2019 (UTC))

The script only checks if your health is below the threshold, not how it got there, so any self-inflicted means of reducing your health will have a chance at activating the effects. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 16:16, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
Tested this and using equilibrium cannot proc the mask's effect. You can use it to get yourself low enough then summon something and attack it to proc the effects anytime though --104.229.180.221 08:12, 13 November 2022 (UTC)
