How to Marry Grelka (PC Only)[edit]

First open the console, select Grelka, once you have selected her type the following console codes:

addtofaction 19809 1

setrelationshiprank player 4

And your done. Congratulations for your marriage.

The reason we can't marry Grelka is that she has a quest that is never given to us. Without the quest her "relationship rank" with us doesn't increase, but with these codes you can bend her to your will. So many people were on the right track but we needed that last bit of info to get the hardest catch in Skyrim.— Unsigned comment by 80.223.94.218 (talk) at 18:50 on 21 November 2011 (UTC)

In response to the "proposed for deletion." This is, in a sense, a bug fix. Thus far no one has been able to marry Grelka, and there are dozens of posts on numerous site asking for help on dealing with this bug. And since Grelka is officially a "marriable NPC", but no one has been able to marry her, this is an actual bug, not a "you-can-marry-anyone" trick, but a bug, and until it is fixed with an upcoming patch, we really should offer the PC users a work around.— Unsigned comment by 80.223.94.218 (talk) at 23:24 on 21 November 2011 (UTC)
You won't get the Lover's Comfort bonus with Grelka. I also added this note to the page. This is also a bug, but since normally we cannot marry Grelka, it is a hidden bug :) Schlingel 22:55, 23 January 2012 (UTC)

No more training[edit]

She wont train me anymore (option doesn't show). I wonder if her being in Haelga's Bunkhouse faction has something to do with it, since I did the quest for her worker to call her out on being a whore. 98.238.18.85 02:18, 24 November 2011 (UTC)

Have you trained beyond her ability to teach? (As an Expert level trainer she can only train up to skill level 75.)71.163.235.35 22:07, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
Even if this is the case, the dialog option should still appear. Schlingel 22:55, 23 January 2012 (UTC)

This is something I've always wondered about. Whenever I'd talk to her she'd say I'd better be here for training, but she never offered any. I always wondered what was going on with that, but when I came to this page it says she does offer training even though she doesn't. Been playing the Special Edition (and now the Anniversary Edition) and there's still no training option. I think there should be something about it under bugs, but I don't know enough about looking at the background to track down what's going on there, so could someone look into it please?185.207.249.96 22:30, 18 November 2021 (UTC)

Gold Glitch[edit]

I'm not sure if this is specifically related to just Grelka, or if it might be all vendors. But I was honestly not sure where else to really put this post. Anyway, I discovered this glitch by basically buying and selling too much. I had a bunch of banish/absorb health iron daggers I had made from Enchanting and some expensive potions made from alchemy laying around for a while. Each sold for around 1,500 gold and the potions went for variable rates. When I reached around 40,000 gold (ridiculous, I know) I came up with the thought of why don't I just sell and buy back the crap outta my own items to level my speech skill? I choose Grelka simply because she was there at that moment. Now I experimented with this a few times, but it seems like the trigger for the glitch is that if she has too much gold in her inventory (probably around 30,000+ gold I'm guessing), then anything you sell won't increase your own gold supply. I.e. you sell a 1,000 gold item, you receive no gold back. I even made a new save when the glitch happened, and reloaded the save to see if the glitch was still there; it was. I kept going back to an older save to fix it though. Eventually, I decided upon not allowing her gold supply to ever go above 10,000. It was a little bit more tedious, but since then, I no longer encountered the glitch. To sum it up, I believe the it occurs when her (or possibly all vendors in general) receive too much gold in their inventory. It's probably some kind of mathematical error behind the scenes I would imagine. Lastly, if this post is more appropriate somewhere else, or has been discussed already, feel free to copy it over to another page.--69.205.180.81 09:48, 29 December 2011 (UTC)

This affects all vendors. 134.176.247.178 17:05, 28 February 2012 (UTC)Tim Bostick
