Aligned with Empire[edit]

How can the article state that the town is aligned with the empire at the first visit? In this play through it was not, since the first visit was delayed. The statement should be removed at made less certain. — Unsigned comment by 122.106.15.149 (talk) at 08:37 on 23 May 2012

It doesn't say that. It says: "At the time of the Dovahkiin's arrival in Skyrim, Falkreath is aligned with the Empire", which is perfectly true, unless you somehow managed to join the Stormcloaks and re-take Falkreath before the opening cutscene. Kitkat TalkContribE-mail 08:45, 23 May 2012 (UTC)

Edge of the Map Bug[edit]

South-west of Falkreath, beyond Halldir's Cairn, is a border crossing to Hammerfell, like the ones to Cyrodiil and Morrowind beyond Windhelm, Riften, and Helgen. However, instead of coming up against an invisible wall as in the other cases, I managed to pass right through. Should this be mentioned as a bug somewhere? --Enodoc (talk) 20:02, 31 October 2012 (GMT)

The only difference I see between this border crossing and the others is that this one has a structure you pass under before you hit the invisible wall. I don't see any bug. --Xyzzy Talk 05:22, 1 November 2012 (GMT)
I thought that might be the case, so after I posted that I kept going trying to find it (I was riding a horse at the time). I ended up going beyond the edge of the visible landscape and out of the vegetation into the base terrain. I turned south and was part way into the 'Cyrodiil area' before I fell out of the world at the edge of the terrain and beginning of the vista background area. I never encountered a wall at all. (I also realised afterwards that this would have been better off in Skyrim talk:Falkreath Hold, sorry about that.) --Enodoc (talk) 10:27, 1 November 2012 (GMT)

All people are hostile[edit]

After becoming thane (under Siddgeir), Helvard became hostile all of a sudden. The main issue was, when I ran outside, the entire town was hostile as well. A few further details: I went to finish my quest and become thane in the dead of night, and so everyone was sleeping, but I have tested, and do know that Helvard was hostile before I became thane. Also, this is a relatively new file, and I have not done anything that I can tell that would cause this. Another thing is that the people of Falkreath are only hostile once Helvard leaves the longhouse. Solutions? Causes? --HalfStache 22:07, 6 August 2012 (UTC) 23:31, 11 November 2012 (GMT)

Guard dialogue[edit]

Falkreath guards will say "Just my luck. Stuck in the sticks with this crazy old woman." Who's the old woman they are referring to? 86.182.39.54 16:16, 20 October 2013 (GMT)

Terrible lag[edit]

On the PS3 anytime I go to or get near falkreath, it lags terribly. Only there though. But it gets worse and anywhere I go after it follows until I have to reset the Game. Any idea why? Cjesseg (talk) 18:44, 14 March 2014 (GMT)

Falkreath Guards[edit]

Anyone else get the glitch where literally *every* guard spawns at the gate you fast travel to? I've had this happen on pretty much every game and although it's not actually a problem I was wondering whether it was worth mentioning in the article? I'll go ahead and put it there wiith a "verification needed" tag if no one objects. AyaHawkeye (talk) 17:31, 23 March 2015 (GMT)

It's not exactly a glitch, it's the result of their editor location being too close to the gates, so they all spawn there when you arrive. Fixed in USKP, though. Vicano (talk) 19:01, 23 March 2015 (GMT)
