Sacrifice[edit]

I understood it to be that they sacrificed themselves and urged Savos to leave them to keep Morokei contained. It was an act of valor by them, but he still felt guilty. Not that he sacrificed them to save himself as an act of cowardice. Biffa (talk) 15:24, 14 May 2014 (GMT)

I disagree as Savros says "...I'm sorry, friends. I'm so sorry! I had no choice! It was the only way to make sure that monster never escaped!". To me, that says he clearly did something he is not proud of. He sacrificed them. Also, the unused quest dialogue makes it crystal clear: "I had no choice, don't you see? I had to leave them behind, had to sacrifice them so I could make it out alive" --Jimeee (talk) 15:33, 14 May 2014 (GMT)
I agree he is not proud to have left them behind, but not that he did anything other than leave to seal Labrithian while the others agreed to contained him. Don't agree that this shows anything underhand by him. To me it seems that the others were courageous and instructed him to seal the place as he had the ability they lacked. They sacrificed themselves IMO. I don't believe there is enough evidence either way without further info and therefore it shouldn't be stated either way. Biffa (talk) 17:23, 14 May 2014 (GMT)
Sorry, but I feel the dialogue/evidence is pretty heavily on the side of his desperate betrayal ("I had to sacrifice them so I could make it out alive") and not just survivor's guilt. Also, the prior dialogues of Atmah and Hafnar Ice-Fist (the two enthralled wizards) doesn't suggest they are the noble, courageous types or that they were ok with the sacrifice. --Jimeee (talk) 17:34, 14 May 2014 (GMT)

Both male? Not in my game ...[edit]

Not sure if it was fixed by Special Edition or perhaps the Unofficial Patch, but I just completed this quest and the Enthralled Wizard on the lower platform was female. — Unsigned comment by 24.18.3.116 (talk) at 22:01 on 12 July 2018
