Stops Working[edit]

Is anyone else experiencing clairvoyance not working at all? It used to work just fine for me, but now (higher level, more quests done etc) it just wont function anymore. Whenever I try to use it, no matter which quest is marked in the journal, it will just report "No direct path seen". Aezay 02:27, 18 November 2011 (UTC)

Select "Map", then click anywhere to place the marker. Select "Remove It" to remove the marker. That did it for me. The "cheap gps" spell works again. --from Tai — Unsigned comment by 98.207.232.188 (talk) at 06:24 on 5 January 2012
Stopped for me too. asked the forums and this worked:
disable all active quests including the miscellaneous ones then place a custom (blue) marker somewhere you know is easy to reach. then try clairvoyance again, it *should* work normally again (ToyHammer) — Unsigned comment by 111.68.59.76 (talk) at 03:52 on 7 January 2012
I found that if you enable Alteration Ritual Spell, clairvoyance stops working. So maybe it doesn't work when you have a quest enabled with no location to point to. Also, clairvoyance seems to put your custom destination as it's first preference, so if you want to get to a quest location you might want t remove it. Jazstar 20:46, 31 January 2012 (UTC)

Night-Eye[edit]

Hey guys, I haven't been playing this game for a while, and now that all these DLCs are out I'm gonna give it a fresh start and make a new character. I was thinking about making an illusion-assassin, and I've noticed previously that Clairvoyance could be of help in dark spots. I don't like turning my brightness up, since it makes the game look pretty horrible, but if clairvoyance doesn't help, I'll have to make a khajit so the night eye is availible. Please tell me if clairvoyance is any help in the dark at all? Thanks. — Unsigned comment by 219.88.64.227 (talk) at 04:47 on 4 May 2013

No direct path found[edit]

If clairvoyance can’t find the path to an objective for some reason, it will display the message, ”No direct path found.” It seems to show this a lot. --Grimbold (talk) 06:33, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
