Hill of Suicides[edit]

I thought it was the Hill of Suicides. — Unsigned comment by Rouge2 (talkcontribs) at 22:07 on 22 February 2008‎ (UTC)

You're thinking of a different hill. –RpehTCE 19:42, 22 February 2008 (EST)

Reference[edit]

Do you think Sheogoraths punished is a reference to the fact that sheogorath is the only npc with a real beard?--76.181.188.3 18:26, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

No - I think a Bethesda dev grew an unadvised beard. –rpehTCE 19:03, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
It could also be a joke about how the player cannot give their character a beard, barring the use of mods of course. — Unsigned comment by 173.61.119.76 (talk) at 07:54 on 6 June 2012 (UTC)

Arrival bug[edit]

I've added a {{Verification needed}} tag to the arrival bug (where you drop to your death) for now because I can't readily test that this happens in-game right now, and if so, under what circumstances. It seems like a reasonable possibility, however, so I've left it on the page. —Robin Hood (TalkE-mailContribs) 21:22, 10 September 2009 (UTC)

he/she says it's on "quick travel". i can assume he means fast travel. there is no marker for execution point, making fast travel, and therefore the bug, impossible. removing it. Scotty1215 22:12, 7 July 2010 (UTC)

Worthy of note?[edit]

I tried to hit Sheogorath just as he was teleporting out of Sanctellum Arden-Sul (Having become duke of dementia) and I got trapped in cutscene mode, without him attacking or anything. — Unsigned comment by 115.64.216.236 (talk) on 2 June 2010

Not really - you're kind of looking for a bug there. I mean, why would you attack him in the moment he becomes unhittable (if I'm not mistaken) and thus mess up the complex scrpting around him? If the vast majority of players don't experience this, there is no point in including it. --SerCenKing Talk 16:04, 2 June 2010 (UTC)

Ability to survive[edit]

You CAN survive being teleported to Execution Point if after being teleported you use the console command enableplayercontrols and tgm, then maneuver yourself so you don't fall on the platform.\ — Unsigned comment by Swordofmars (talkcontribs) at 00:28 on 28 July 2010‎ (UTC)

This requires console commands, therefore it is not listed on the article. --Rigas Papadopoulos 11:43, 30 September 2010 (UTC)

Verification Failed[edit]

There is a glitch where if you use a 7 second paralyze spell on Sheogorath he will have his normal dialogue while he lies on the ground paralyzed then when he stands up he won't make you teleport and you will be stuck in cutscene mode forever. [verification needed — Does this work for all Paralyze spells?] Too confirm this I made several touch paralyze spells. One lasted one second, another four, the next to confirm it 7, the next lasted 14, and the last 30 seconds. They all failed, after casting it he would say the regular "You really shouldn't of done that, enjoy the view.". When the paralysis wore off he cast the spell as usual, followed by me reloading. I'm removing the line as it seems it was just a freak occurrence that probably won't happen again. Alpha Kenny Buddy 00:11, 31 December 2010 (UTC)

Name[edit]

I can't find any reference to the name "Execution Point" in the CS. In fact, looking at the Unmarked Places page history, I'd say it's completely unofficial. Seeing as how the official name of the place seems to be "Punishment Point", I suggest we move the article. Does anyone disagree? --Legoless 20:35, 26 July 2011 (UTC)

I know this post is old, but I agree the article should be moved to Shivering:Punishment Point. --Dorsal Axe (talk) 16:29, 15 January 2016 (UTC)
Forgot about this. I've moved it. —Legoless (talk) 17:59, 15 January 2016 (UTC)
Dragging this up again, but the name on the Shivering map needs changing to match otherwise the issue of officialness hasn't been fully resolved. Once someone with the rights has edited the map they can remove the mapname parameter I've had to had from this page. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 00:59, 13 April 2017 (UTC)
