"Store"[edit]

In several places, the Museum of Oddities is listed as a "store". To some degree, this is okay, but it begins to cause discrepancies in places like Shivering:Services (as I mentioned on that talk page). I believe we should change the template and categories to exclude this from the list of "stores", since nothing is bought or sold here, but I'm at a loss as to what exactly to do here. --Robin Hood (TalkE-mailContribs) 02:23, 16 May 2009 (EDT)

Faulty (?) Dialogue[edit]

I recently caught up with Ushnar gro-Shadborgob and noticed a strange thing whilst I was following him on his tour of the Museum of Oddities. He came across the Sheogorath-Shaped Amber and as Una Armina was speaking about it, she instantly turned to me and mentioned that it was a piece of amber shaped like me/Sheogorath, even though I had not asked for a tour, and the fact I was Invisible. P.S I have completed the main quest line, if its any use. -Theman100 08:57, 29 May 2009 (EDT)

Maybe she's programmed to face towards the player and say that if you're past a certain stage of the main quest, no matter if you're sneaking, invisible or under the floorboards. 86.44.221.166 09:14, 29 May 2009 (EDT)
It looks like it's coded to always speak to the player, regardless of who she's actually giving the tour to. My guess is that for that one item, you were close enough to trigger her to actually face you. --Robin Hood (TalkE-mailContribs) 16:39, 1 June 2009 (EDT)

More faulty dialogue?[edit]

I was also in the museum while Ushnar gro-Shadborgob was being given a tour. The odd part is, at every exhibit, she would use dialogue indicative of the item being gone/stolen. I could clearly see the objects, and had never stolen any of them, so I can't figure out why she would say that. I'm using the 360 GotY version, if it matters. 173.67.0.77 19:07, 4 March 2010 (UTC)

I experienced the same thing yesterday, and you are right - it is weird. I'll give it a thorough check one of these days and make sure it gets a mention on her page. --Krusty 07:32, 10 March 2010 (UTC)
I can confirm this on the 360 version, it is when she is showing Ushnar gro-Shadborgob around, I'm not sure whether the tour is on the first time you enter or on a time basis, can anyone confirm?
Should this be added to the bugs section of the related quest? And has anyone discovered the reason for this yet? Vegetablevandal 17:28, 31 January 2012 (UTC)
Yes. I'll do that now. Robin Hoodtalk 08:24, 3 February 2012 (UTC)

Bugs section[edit]

I've deleted the bugs section. It contained the following two "bugs":

  • If you open the display cabinet for the Ring of Desiccation and refrain from picking it up, Una Armina will tell people on her tours that the ring is missing when it hasn't been taken yet.
Simply not true. I've tested it in game and it doesn't happen and then looked in the CS. The script is on the ring and not the cabinet so the OP must have been mistaken.
  • If you pick up the Gatekeepers arm and put it back then pick it up again it will be permanently stuck in your inventory.
This isn't a glitch. The arm is a Quest Item, which is why you can't drop it, and in any case you can simply donate it back to Una to remove it from your inventory. rpeh •TCE 08:33, 7 June 2010 (UTC)
Shouldn't we add in the fact that the skull, ring and arm of the gatekeeper can all be stolen and than donated back to the museum? Mikeyboy52 04:07, 10 June 2010 (UTC)

Museum Tour Always on Offer[edit]

In the article, 'When first entering, you can ask Una for a "Museum Tour"' actually applied to subsequent visits to the museum. The "Musuem Tour" option remains highlighted, and further tour accept/decline options remain highlighted as well. Also when interrupting the tour, Una stops the tour and reverts to the "Welcome to the Museum of Oddities" dialogue with the usual greet options.--Lmstearn (talk) 11:03, 27 July 2014 (GMT)
