Depressive Housing[edit]

After Hirrus has been 'put out of his misery', is it legal to enter and sleep in his house? I know that the box containing your reward does not reset, but can you live in his house after he is dead? --Merco 14:32, 22 October 2007 (EDT)

I know this is old, but I'll answer it for future reference. The upstairs part of the house will always be owned by Hirrus, and consider you trespassing, so you won't be able to wait or use the bed. But of course, the two containers are safe for storage. If on PC, you can use the "setcellownership" console command to make the house yours after the quest is completed and then use "setownership" on the door and bed. --86.31.123.150 18:03, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Voice[edit]

He sounds like he has a special voicing from other NPCs. Anyone know?

His new lines do sound a bit different but then I imagine the actor was told to sound a bit depressed given the nature of Hirrus' role in the game. –RpehTCE 05:41, 11 January 2008 (EST)

Containers[edit]

>Lord Valarian
After quest is completed some areas and objects are not yours(bug). Not true, the dresser is marked as not player and other objects. If you leave anything in it for while, it will marked as stolen if removed later. Some areas are marked as yours some not. If you use the dresser, you must use set ownership on it. The first area inside is marked as player, but the upper floor is marked as trespassing.

I've moved this because I'm really not sure what it's trying to say... –RpehTCE 04:13, 15 February 2008 (EST)

Can Someone tell me...[edit]

What reasons there are for him dying without the player's intervention? I ask because, I recently decided to do this quest, which had been knocking about in my journal for ages. after I head off to Cutter's weapons to sell some stuff, when I come out, It tell's me he's dead. I reload a previous save and it worked fine, but I'm interested in knowing what the cause was? -Dan 9410 14:53, 21 April 2008 (EDT)

Holden Caulfield[edit]

Does anyone else notice the similarities between this character and The Catcher in the Rye's protagonist? 68.199.249.139 11:07, 13 June 2009 (EDT)

I don't see that much of a similarity. They have hard lives, but who truly doesn't? --Mr. Oblivion(T-C) 18:08, 22 June 2009 (EDT)
