Initial Page[edit]

I've just created the original Amber ore page. If anyone can think of things to add, definitely do so. And if the formatting is terrible, go ahead. I don't know what to do with the pictures of weapons and armor, I felt it needed an image or but am unable to capture quality images on my own.

It needs:

  • More info, I don't know what else to add.
  • What the ore looks like, as well as a stump or something.
  • Possibly the sparkles I'm talking about on there, and go ahead and reword that if you can think of something more intelligent than sparkles floating around. ;P

As asked, I have slightly modified the "Sparkles" bit of the page. Of course, if anybody can provide a better description then please do so. Forgive me if I have screwed up a bit or seem like an idiot, for this is my first day here.

I just added a bit about the containers that seems clearer to me re: the sparkles, but if anyone thinks it's too anthropomorphous or something can feel free to revert.

Amber Bow[edit]

Does anyone know where to find it? Cirith Mara 03:22, 27 August 2010 (UTC)

Amber in Jayred's House[edit]

Since it's been changed at least twice now, there are 3 pieces of amber downstairs in Jayred's house, and 1 upstairs on the dresser behind the candle. That's 4 in total. Robin Hoodtalk 05:32, 29 August 2010 (UTC)

Amber weapon disappears....[edit]

I place an amber weapon(any kind)in my cheydinhal home, in chest or cupboard it suddenly disappears, And you can't find it eny were. is this a bug or what? — Unsigned comment by 85.23.80.96 (talk)

They don't really disappear, see here. --Wizy (Talk/Contribs) 04:21, 6 January 2011 (UTC)

Sheogorath-shaped Amber[edit]

(moved from the article)

  • There are only 46 Amber Stumps and Limbs in the Shivering Isles. They are also the only containers to have the incredibly rare Sheogorath-Shaped Amber. Since they are non-respawning, if you searched all 46 containers and did not find the Sheogorath Amber, than you are unfortunately out of luck.
I've moved this because although it's true, this is already better explained on the quest page, along with details of the UOP fix. rpeh •TCE 15:42, 26 March 2011 (UTC)
Ah. Okay, Pwnageincarnate beat me to the undo, but I agree with it. rpeh •TCE 15:46, 26 March 2011 (UTC)

Amber Matricies Impossible to Find[edit]

So I've raided dungeon after dungeon going after boss containers and I've only ever found 2 Amber Matricies. In the same time without half the effort I've found enough Madness Matricies for 3 full sets of armor. Has anyone else had this problem? (Gadianzero 13:27, 1 May 2011 (UTC))

I rarely see amber matrices either. Just look for them in places you would find amber. Legoless 13:34, 1 May 2011 (UTC)
The problem is that Grummites can sometimes have madness matrices, but the only creatures that drop Amber - Gnarls - can never drop amber matrices. I have to confess that I often end up using console codes to give myself the necessary Amber matrices. rpeh •TCE 14:55, 1 May 2011 (UTC)
but don't certain boss chests also contain amber and spawn and since they drop amber wouldn't they also contain amber matrices from time to time----Candc4, Also known as the Man Inside the Sexy Leather Pants CT 20:20, 25 October 2011 (UTC)
There are a few such chests, yes, but only a very small number. Details here. rpeh •TCE 05:59, 26 October 2011 (UTC)

Waraxe[edit]

Is there an amber axe or a war axe. — Unsigned comment by 68.231.197.3 (talk) at 02:47 on 17 June 2011

No. --Legoless 01:52, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
