Why semi protection?[edit]

Why is the semi protection imposed on this page? There has been no vandalism so far, and therefore no reason to give it any protection. I would have understood the Lore article, as it has been vandalised several times, but the Online article has not been touched, as far as I can see? —MortenOSlash (talk) 21:38, 28 November 2013 (GMT)

Every single Redguard race page has been vandalised, there is no reason to think this will change. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 21:55, 28 November 2013 (GMT)
If the protection had been consistent on all Redguard pages I would have understood that premise as reason enough, but the Lore article that has been vandalised at times, and is as far as I can see not protected, and the Online article here has not and has been semi protected now. Are there any particular reason why we expect an attack on this page just now? —MortenOSlash (talk) 05:34, 29 November 2013 (GMT)
I surprised to see it isn't protected, but Skyrim and Oblivion received extensive vandalism when they weren't protected and there is no reason to presume otherwise. Even the front page for Redguard (game) was vandalised in this manner. There is overwhelming evidence to suggest this page will attract vandalism in the future, and I'd far rather we take precautions with such evidence than wait and let it happen. Skyrim wan't touched until the day before release btw, so there's nothing to suggest it might happen soon, I was just proposing a few others that needed some and I suggested this one too.
