When Valenwood was conquered by Emperor Reman II late in the First Era, the princes of the Camoran Dynasty were exiled and the province was reorganized into nine small, semi-autonomous kingdoms. This bolstered local pride, and made Valenwood easier to govern.

The Underroot

The Underroot is a cave in western Greenshade, southeast of the Seaside Sanctuary containing lamia. The group is led by Domina Ssaranth.

According to a Blood-Spattered Love Note found in the cave, The Underroot was not only used as a trysting spot, but the Lamia were thought to be friendly.
