Bralthahawn's [sic] needs someone to gather a strange kind of mushroom growing in Gloomreach that a few Reach clans are interested in. I volunteered my services.

Detailed Walkthrough

Bralthahawn needs someone to delve into Gloomreach and pick some strange mushrooms that have garnered the interest of a few clans. You can access Gloomreach by entering a cave in located in the side of a mountain in the central-southern portion of the Reach, or you can take the entrance northwest of Nighthollow Keep in Blackreach: Arkthzand Cavern.

Your first mushroom is located north of the Blackreach entrance and south of the overland Reach entrance, next to Calis's Journal. To reach the second mushroom, you'll want to head through the northern tunnel, then move southeast at the fork in the road. It doesn't matter whether you take the next diverging path east or south, because there's a mushroom in both tunnels. If you headed south, head through the eastern tunnel. If you took the eastern tunnel, keep moving south. Your last mushroom is in the southeastern chamber on the delve's map; on a cliff just to the left of the exit coming in to the chamber from the north. Once you've gathered three Gloomreach Mushrooms, return to Bralthahawn in Markarth to receive payment for services rendered.
