This one is a bit iffy. Her Health value is given as any normal NPC, but since it's impossible to ever encounter her while she's still alive, the value should for all practical purposes be 0. Also, she technically should be a member of the Mages Guild, even if she isn't listed as such in the CS. (Why bother putting factions on corpses?) All in all, I'm not even sure that we need to have separate pages for NPCs that are already dead the first time you see them. Maybe put them all together on a page called Oblivion:Dead People? (Oh, and I removed the "Needs Image" tag on this one - I mean really, she's dead, do we really need a picture?) --TheRealLurlock Talk 20:32, 11 March 2007 (EDT)

Thanks for the tips. I was really just starting at the bottom of Nephele's sandbox list. --GuildKnight 20:38, 11 March 2007 (EDT)
I don't know offhand that there are enough dead people to justify having a separate page for them, and if there are any other dead people at this point they already have their own page. It seems like the effort to create a new page, decide who should be on it, where to link to it, etc., would be more effort than just keeping separate pages at this point. I'm also not completely sure that she truly is dead... there are two listings for her in the CS, one for "Zahrasha" and one for "ZahrashaDead" (and this info is all taken from the non-dead entry). Although I don't remember the quest well enough off hand to remember the details of what happened with her. --Nephele 20:46, 11 March 2007 (EDT)
Here is a complete list of everything that happens with her:
  1. You enter the cave and stumble over her dead body.
That's it. I'm almost certain that you never get to see her alive before that. Possibly if you cheated and got into the cave before the quest started, but I'm pretty sure it's one of those "Needs a Key" locks that you can't open ahead of time. As for other dead people - I seem to recall there's half a dozen or so in a mine in a Fighters Guild quest. There's also the other mage who's in the same quest as Zahrasha, though technically speaking you do see her alive - for about 2 seconds, during which you're frozen as she's killed by a necromancer. Then there's the "Bosmer" thief inside the painted world in Cheydinhal, (actually an Altmer, but it says Bosmer). There's that dead mountain climber near Dive Rock. And that's just what I can recall off the top of my head without looking anything up. They do all have pages right now, though there's not much to say about any of them. I propose changing all those pages to redirects to a Dead People page, which would be set up similar to Oblivion:Followers or Oblivion:Essential NPCs. Any thoughts on this? --TheRealLurlock Talk 23:52, 11 March 2007 (EDT)
Makes sense to me. --GuildKnight 15:12, 12 March 2007 (EDT)

The alive version of Zahrasha initially stands around on the small inaccessible island (Wellspring Grove) where you get your mage's staff, so you could potentially see her from afar, but her AI is completely empty; she doesn't even wander. That one's a mere decoration just as the dead version is.
I think a page for NPCs that only appear as corpses is a good idea. Since they don't actively influence the gameplay beyond their mere existence as props, there is no need to know what their stats would theoretically have been. If someone really needs to know, they can either look it up in the CS or ask someone to do it for them.
As for other prop corpses, I remember at least two Fighters Guild quests that finish with finding already dead people at the end of caves. I remember that I picked up a broken shield from one of them and then couldn't get rid of it until I finally received that quest. -- JustTheBast 15:35, 12 March 2007 (EDT)

Pic[edit]

We shouldnt use this pic for her. As it is impossible to encounter her like that without console commands it shouldnt show her like that. Ok i see that it is possible but i believe we should show her how she is usually encountered.BenScoHolm 03:14, 31 August 2011 (UTC)

Agreed, a pic of her dead would be noice. I'll slap a needsimage tag on the page. --SerCenKing Talk 11:04, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
