Bolded?[edit]

Dumb query, but why is the name of the boarding house bolded? I just checked the Style Guide, and while Winson should be bolded, the house ought not be. Somercy 12:59, 22 February 2007 (EST)

The names of inns and shops (but not houses) are often bolded on NPC pages to make them stand out. I thought this was preferable to creating a link to a page that will never exist. (See the heated discussion on Oblivion talk:The Bloated Float Inn.) --TheRealLurlock Talk 13:10, 22 February 2007 (EST)
Why not just leave it unbolded, unlinked? And I can't find said discussion...Somercy 13:17, 22 February 2007 (EST)
(Sorry, forgot a word) I don't know - somebody else started doing that, and I thought it wasn't a bad idea, making the names of establishments stand out like that. No official policy, just thought it looked better. --TheRealLurlock Talk 13:48, 22 February 2007 (EST)

Found Dead[edit]

When I was doing the 'Go Fish' quest, I found Winson's dead body under the bridge that leads from the Imperial City to Weye. It had 3 gold, Belted Braies, Belted Vest, and Braided Leather Sandals on it. Icedrake523 10:42, 9 November 2007 (EST)

Winson's two-personalities[edit]

Well, when I see winson at the arena, he is quite rude, saying Look pal no talkie, alright? I'm here to watch people get mutilated, not blab like an old woman. but the odd thing is, when you talk to him outside the arena, when you ask him about the imperial city, he says, just keep your head down. you don't want people taking notice, just keep a low profile.... or something like that. And my point is he snaps at you in the arena, but he tries to hide when out of it. Is it because he doesn't see you as a threat? Any answers? --Arch-Mage Matt 19:50, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

I don't see how it requires two personalities for an NPC to have different greetings dependent on the location they are at. --Timenn-<talk> 12:20, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Dead?[edit]

Me 2 founded him dead at quest "go fish". What's about that? (Sexydjole 22:46, 7 December 2011 (UTC))

Maybe he was attacked by bandits or wildlife. He does leave the Imperial City and travels past ruins and such to get to Pell's Gate. My guess is he was killed beforehand and you just happened to find him there during the quest. Eric Snowmane 23:04, 7 December 2011 (UTC)
