Just wondering why the info I copied from Nephele's sandbox says he's never available. --GuildKnight 16:34, 12 March 2007 (EDT)

None of his AI packages have "Offer Services" Ticked. — Unsigned comment by Jadrax (talkcontribs) at 20:39 on 12 March 2007‎

Investing[edit]

Based on information at 100% Completion, I added a note to this page stating that:

Investing in Vlanhonder (using the expert-level mercantile perk) is not always possible. It appears to be necessary to fortify your mercantile skill (using spells or enchanted items) for the investment option to appear; naturally increasing your mercantile to 75 does not seem to work.

However, when I then went to test this in game, I found that I had no problems investing in Vlanhonder, either using a character with natural mercantile=91, or one who had to use a spell to boost mercantile past 75. There are no notes on the 100% Completion page detailing circumstances under which players were unable to invest in his store. Therefore, unless more information is provided, there seems to be little evidence of any problems. --NepheleTalk 01:50, 27 August 2007 (EDT)

On the contrary, I just came here to ask about investing in him. I successfully invested with Etira Moslin (using a fortify skill spell), but it won't bring up the option to invest with Vlanhonder even with a skill fortified up to 100. I don't see why the option would be availiable for one but not the other. I haven't progressed with the Hackdrit quest any more inbetween trying, and he was in his inn when I tried to invest. 76.106.185.255 18:29, 30 September 2008 (EDT)
Ah, figured out the problem. I didn't have enough gold. Apparently it won't even bring the option up if you don't have enough. 76.106.185.255 18:42, 30 September 2008 (EDT)
