Value[edit]

The value of the sword was changed to 125 back in June, which is taken from the CS (and which I can also verify). It was recently changed back to the original 740, which is apparently the in-game value. What's up with this? --Legoless 13:29, 14 July 2011 (UTC)

Shouldn't it be in-game value?"There is always hope"-Aragorn 13:31, 14 July 2011 (UTC)
Yes, it should. But the CS is rarely wrong, so I thought I'd enquire. --Legoless 13:31, 14 July 2011 (UTC)
Well if you can, check for yourself in-game."There is always hope"-Aragorn 13:33, 14 July 2011 (UTC)
I can't currently, but I don't doubt the legitimacy of the value change. I'm simply curious about the strange conflict. --Legoless 13:36, 14 July 2011 (UTC)
I watched a video and it said in-game on the Inventory page '740'."There is always hope"-Aragorn 13:45, 14 July 2011 (UTC)
The value in the CS doesn't take into account the enchantments on the weapon. mxk101Talk 13:47, 14 July 2011 (UTC)
So the CS is wrong?"There is always hope"-Aragorn 13:55, 14 July 2011 (UTC)

() Thanks for clearing that up. --Legoless 14:11, 14 July 2011 (UTC)

So are these pages supposed to go by the CS data or by in-game data which can fluctuate under certain conditions? Arthmoor 19:08, 14 July 2011 (UTC)
For suitations like this the in-game values should be used rather than what the CS says. This is explained better in the style guide. mxk101Talk 19:19, 14 July 2011 (UTC)
We use the in-game monetary values (which don't fluctuate), but CS values for things like damage (which do fluctuate). rpeh •TCE 06:59, 15 July 2011 (UTC)

Absurd[edit]

Is there any story behind Absorb Speechcraft for 5 sec? — Unsigned comment by 82.144.192.117 (talk) at 23:06 on 14 December 2011

He's an absurd sort of man in some ways. Read his NPC page. Robin Hoodtalk 21:15, 9 January 2012 (UTC)

He's an well-worded orc, that's were it came from, speaking like him is the point.Br3admax 21:36, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
