Irony[edit]

Isn't it ironic, that it costs more magicka to cast, than it restores?--87.52.71.146 21:25, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

Not really. Since you won't want to use it on yourself, the "conversion" of the magicka has a cost to it as well (if you go by science). –Elliot talk 23:03, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

Is there any way to cast such a spell on-self?[edit]

I know it's a stupid question, but is there any way to cast a magicka restoration spell which will cost LESS then it restores? 95.49.95.207 16:00, 24 April 2010 (UTC)

There are no spells for magicka restoration, as these only come in potion or welkynd stone form. You can look into spell adsorption or absorb magicka, but these require an opponent with a substantial mana reserve. Vesna 23:54, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
Oh what if you were to open the spellmaking altar via the console when your magicka was being restored by one of those wells in the oblivion gates? O_o The WurmTalk 03:31, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
Nothing much? The available effects are based on the spells that you are able to cast, not simply effects granted by potions or magical items. Vesna 04:27, 22 May 2010 (UTC)
Oh, ok. Just a thought. — Unsigned comment by ‎The Wurm (talkcontribs) at 16:47 on 22 May 2010
