Weird Behaviour[edit]

Following up what Krusty mentioned, I checked the CS again and found a discrepancy in the AI packages concerning the 5pm trip. Both of his reading times are random and between 8am and 8pm. They last for three hours and are the only daily action that is mentioned as 'Must Complete'. It is possible that he will decide to start reading at 5pm and miss the trip altogether. Or he will start at 4pm, miss two hours and only spend one hour outdoors. This is as far as I've got but I plan to check in-game in the next few days. Krusty, Rpeh... Any thoughts? --SerCenKing Talk 08:58, 1 April 2009 (EDT)

Hmm, this is weird. When I followed him yesterday, he left for the island at 5pm (that was on a loredas for the record), but the day I checked on his wife, he stayed in the Guild, all frozen and so did she. Since I am at the guild right now, I might as well give him a second check. I'll be back! Krusty 09:22, 1 April 2009 (EDT)
I think we can forget our little Sundas-theory. He sleeps until 8am on Morndas and Tirdas as well. Can anyone check the AI packages, if ANYTHING should be messed up? Krusty 12:27, 3 April 2009 (EDT)
As a matter of fact, I think he sleeps until 8am every day of the week (I have kept an eye on him, when I followed the other members around). Make sure to check this out, when you visit the Guild Hall in-game. Krusty 06:10, 4 April 2009 (EDT)

Sleeping time on Sundas[edit]

Quote from edit summary; "Undo until this is sorted out: only AI package for sleep is between 10pm and 6am and he doesn't carry food" - if he only have one AI package for sleep, how come he stays at the Riverview until midnight? Shouldn't he go home and sleep at 10pm, then? I figured, that he had a 8 hour sleeping package, no matter what time he goes to bed. I checked, double-checked, woke him up, exited and re-entered the Guild. And he was a sleep between 6am and 8am at all times. And only on that particular day. Anyway, deleting the cheese wedge thing is okay - I just returned and checked, and it was gone. He probably picked it up at the party.

  • Edit: Just re-loaded, fast-traveled and waited until 5pm (which can sometimes screw up the schedule, but in a "good" in-game checking-way). Its now Sundas at 8pm, and he' just woke up. Consider it tripple-checked, but it would still be interesting, if the CS could provide som kind of explanation. Krusty 09:16, 1 April 2009 (EDT)
Yep, you're right there! I didn't consider the fact that he sleeps from midnight onwards! XD Feel free to put it back into the article. The food, however, is wrong: he probably just picked it up somewhere. --SerCenKing Talk 09:28, 1 April 2009 (EDT)
He sleeps until 8 because, although his sleep package is supposed to stop at 6am, he has nothing else to do between 6am and 8am. That means he keeps doing whatever he was already doing - in this case, sleeping. –RpehTCE 06:09, 5 April 2009 (EDT)

Services[edit]

He offers his services on the times, I wrote - I don't know why, but some of those NPC's will sometimes NOT offer you services and sometimes they will, if you ask them a couple more times. City-Swimmer did the same thing. And the "Rarely" description is hardly satisfying....Krusty 13:42, 4 April 2009 (EDT)

The times you wrote were too broad: he only offers services when he reads (CS-checked) and this only occurs randomly from 8am and for three hours. Since I don't really like 'Rarely' either, I'll tweak the NPC Summary, but most of the info is in the services section anyway. --SerCenKing
Fair enough; As long as you give him and his services a look when you pay a visit in-game - after a few tries, maybe he goes into "reading"-mode (CS) and will offer his services anyway...? I just approached him when he was just standing around, and he offered his services anyway...Krusty 13:59, 4 April 2009 (EDT)
This is probably his default 'Wander' package, which kicks in when he can't perform his other actions and at that point he should offer his services then. I'm just about to give him a check in-game. --SerCenKing Talk 14:03, 4 April 2009 (EDT)
Great - and DON'T forget to give his wake-up time a check as well - as I really can't figure out, what is happening... Krusty 14:05, 4 April 2009 (EDT)
I have a theory; Whenever approached, you can trigger his "reading" schedule randomly, thus giving you access to his services - I think that explains, why he will offer/not offer his services at random times.... Krusty 14:13, 4 April 2009 (EDT)
