Opening Door

Trap?

In Zone 1, when I go down the sets of stairs that lead to the gas trap room, I get damaged by something. There's no visible trap, and nothing here to suggest any thing that can deal damage so I'm wondering what it is. Exact location is the top of the second small landing area where the last set of stairs start (on your way down). (Alternatively, stand in the gas room, walk to the stairs to the exit, and at the top of the first set of stairs out of the gas room it should happen). It occurs on both sides.

The damage is very slight (2 when walking/1 when crouched, based on my measurements, but I don't know might affect it) and I was wondering if it was some kind of glitched-based falling damage. If you stand on it, the damage continues like a gas trap, which doesn't seem much like falling damage, so a second guess would ask about the gas filled room at the bottom.... I'm at level 45, have Reflect Damage 101, Spell Absorption 104* and still it happens. I removed all clothing, armor, weapons, etc. and it was the same. Close examination reveals nothing out of the ordinary. Perhaps these are invisible gas traps, like in one spot in Malada. There are steps down into a small lower area and one of them is near the bottom of the stairs.-- 60.240.185.242 13:14, 20 June 2015 (UTC)
