Valuable loot[edit]

I just wanted to say that in these caverns I miraculously found an elven and an ebony bow (I was at lvl 18) in 2 of the clutter chests near F. Have other people gotten valuables there? — Unsigned comment by Deathbagel (talkcontribs) at 05:02 on 14 July 2011‎

It seems to be just good luck, I once found two rings of perfection in the same dungeon before. RIM (talk) 14:32, 28 March 2015 (GMT)

Deep Ones[edit]

I heard a rumor that you can hear the Deep Ones in the Hackdirt Caverns if you turn the music off and your volume up a bit. I did hear something, like a growl maybe? — Unsigned comment by 110.22.166.2 (talk) at 13:21 on 28 March 2015

Sounds like just a rumor to me, if that was true it would have been noted, probably just the regular ambient music in the caves. RIM (talk) 14:33, 28 March 2015 (GMT)
No I heard it too. Revphi10 (talk) 03:35, 29 March 2015 (GMT)
Hmm according to the other elder scrolls wiki this is true, I'll do some investigating so. RIM (talk) 12:05, 2 May 2015 (GMT)
Wow, you guys were totally right. I turned the music volume down to zero and went around the caverns and after killing all the brethren, who were making too much noise, I could clearly hear the growl. It happens every couple of seconds and it is quite unlike any other sound in Oblivion. It sounds like a disturbing animal howl nearby. I will add this to the article right away. And I thought there were no more secrets left to find in Oblivion! RIM (talk) 12:22, 2 May 2015 (GMT)
I had a look in the Construction Set and the ambient noise is present and is unique to this cell. If anyone wishes to hear it for themselves, try standing in the central cavern—should give you the clearest sound based on the node placement. —Legoless (talk) 01:12, 2 January 2021 (UTC)
