Always Essential?[edit]

On Essential NPCs it says that Dubok "never" becomes killable. Is there something in the CS that suggests that he's not always essential? --GuildKnight (Talk) contribs 14:25, 2 October 2007 (EDT)

It's more a case of the script to make him killable NOT being there. He (and various others) have the essential flag set in the main file but never have it switched by a script, implying there's no way he can be killed. I didn't add that information myself but I imagine that's how it got to be there. --RpehTalk 03:43, 3 October 2007 (EDT)
The reason I was asking is that Nephele's CS data (which we created these pages with) said that he is only "sometimes" eesential, which conflicts with Essential NPCs, which says that he is "never" killable. Just wondering if someone with the CS could check on this. --GuildKnight (Talk) contribs 12:43, 3 October 2007 (EDT)

Going Walkabouts[edit]

I was travelling from Leyawiin to Bravil on my horse and just a little down the road from Leyawiin I saw Dubok (who, despite his low-level armour, I at first mistook for a marauder) seemingly having a scrap with a legion horseman. A will-o-the-wisp was actually between them but I think there was a misunderstanding between Dubok and the Horseman as the latter ended up dead (rendering the poor orc helpless as he had no weapons which could harm the will-o-the-wisp) I stepped in, thinking I would have to kill them both, but I was confused when I found out who he was. Has anyone else found Dubok wandering about the roads? ps. sorry for the long description of my little fight. The-manta 15:23, 20 July 2008 (EDT)

Just saw exact same situation except it was Spriggan instead of a Will-o-the-Wisp. Rellian was next to him helping fight the Spriggan, but didn't seem to care about the Soldier. Doctormccorm 11:17, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
