Background?[edit]

Bolor appears out of nowhere in the course of the Echo Cave quest, yet he and Mannimarco both talk as if he's someone of consequence. Is this another instance of a plot twist that never got developed? It just seems odd that some nobody necromancer guarding the door should have a name. Wordmama 17:07, 16 May 2010 (UTC)

The reason he is named is probably because he is "unique" in his script and because unlike with some other necromancers, you actually have a "proper" conversation (or at least a conversation) with him, the same thing with Noveni Othran. -Goblin lair 19:16, 16 May 2010

"Mold"[edit]

"Bolor" means "mold" in portuguese. Funny coincidence, considering he's a necromancer. Speaking of that, "Savel" is the portuguese name of the Allis Shad fish (scientific name: Alosa alosa), a threatened species (danger of extinction - reference to death?) encountered in Portugal, among other places.

Probably not worth putting in the article and that second "reference" might be stretching it, but I'll leave it here in the talk page.--201.14.251.195 21:24, 8 July 2011 (UTC)

Murder[edit]

I did not see it in the article, but if you kill Bolor before he starts talking, it will count as murder.SirNotAppearing 05:04, 22 February 2012 (UTC)

That will be because he is not a member of an evil faction until he completes his speech, at which point he is added to one (Necromancers Cult). Probably worth adding. --Gaebrial 07:32, 22 February 2012 (UTC)
(edit conflict) It is already mentioned on the quest page and is fixed by the UOP. Since he only exist during the quest, it is probably okay to keep the information there? --Krusty 07:33, 22 February 2012 (UTC)
Might be worth keeping it here as well, as anybody who kills him and gets a murder rap is likely to start by looking him up by name to find out why. But I'll change the wording here and move it under 'Bugs'. --Gaebrial 07:40, 22 February 2012 (UTC)
