Argonian Vampires[edit]

can you make a argonian a vampire? if its possable then how?Saigemasterarrow 19:07, 23 May 2008 (EDT)

Same as anyone else, it's just 4 times less likely due to their 75% disease resistance. Incidentally, your question is already answered in the note right on the bottom of the article. --TheRealLurlock Talk 09:24, 24 May 2008 (EDT)
It's worth noting that Vicente's "Dark Gift" bypasses Resist Disease effects. --Debatra 03:24, 21 June 2008 (EDT)
Good point. I'll check the article for that quest, and if it doesn't note that, I'll add it. --Robin Hood (TalkE-mailContribs) 14:57, 25 June 2008 (EDT)

No don't add it, if you examine the page history i did just that earlier in the week and my edits were reverted as they would have to be placed on too many pages. Personally i disagreed with the revert but as they say... don't anger the admins! :p Lewbot1 15:57, 25 June 2008 (EDT)

There was already a note on the quest page, which was where I figured it would be approrpiate, so I didn't worry about it. And being a Patroller, I interact with the Admins fairly regularly. :) --Robin Hood (TalkE-mailContribs) 21:07, 25 June 2008 (EDT)

Black marsh names[edit]

During a visit to a town i spoke to an argonian who had a descriptive phrase name. he said that he had another name that couldn't be pronounced by non-black marsh denizens should this be added as it does explain why some have names and others have descriptive phrases. Lewbot1 14:03, 27 June 2008 (EDT)

Proper punctuation is your friend! Still, the information seems valid, but I don't know if it's too redundant to mention on the main page. Let's see what the admins have to say.--Darth NANAME 23:51, 29 June 2008 (EDT)
The article on Argonian names has been updated accordingly. I couldn't really see any place on the Argonian article where the information would fit into the Argonian article, either here or at Lore:Argonian. --NepheleTalk 21:11, 27 July 2008 (EDT)
I couldn't find the information about Argonian names being unpronouncable, was this removed? 118.82.150.60 11:22, 1 January 2011 (UTC)

In-Game Descriptions[edit]

I know that several races essentially have this information in their into paragraphs, but several don't. I wanted to be consistent so I put it on all ten pages. I think it's useful to have the direct, in-game quote but I'd understand if people don't want to have some of the duplication and decide to trim things a bit in the intros. –RpehTCE 15:25, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

Wait, what?[edit]

Okay, that's like the second or third time I've heard a female argonian referred to as a male (He instead of she). Is this some kind of cultural thing with argonians? (the two I can remember are City-swimmer, and two NPCs referred to Deetsan in this way, too.) Aztectornado 03:23, 8 September 2009 (UTC)

No, these are just slips of the pen from Bethesda dialogue writers, there is really nothing behind it. --Timenn-<talk> 20:33, 8 September 2009 (UTC)

I assumed, in City-Swimmer's case, she was just saying it in that you wouldnt know when you first meet her, so for all you know City-Swimmer was soem other person. Though we players see names when we put the cursor over them, our character doesnt REALLY know. Kiutu

Argonian anatomy[edit]

Whats happened to the argonians extra leg joint? It would appear to have completely disapeared. Is this a slip or deliberate? Or are the Argonians in oblivion a different race? — Unsigned comment by 92.29.25.207 (talk) on 29 October 2009

It's explained at Lore:Argonian#History. --Timenn-<talk> 16:04, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
Argonians of morrowind don't have an extra leg joint. Certain parts of their legs are just proportioned different, such as a dog's. The length and construction of their ankles to toes are mearly different.--184.59.234.134 02:32, 24 August 2010 (UTC)

I believe that's what he's talking about. Cirith Mara 04:16, 30 August 2010 (UTC)

Race-Specific Dialogue[edit]

While playing an Argonian, I keep getting what looks like the dialogue listed for Imperials, with the exceptions of "Greetings, Argonian" and "You'll make a fine pair of boots, lizard". --Debatra 03:16, 16 January 2011 (UTC)

Stealing their heart[edit]

If I pickpocket their heart, will they die? Their heart should be mentioned in the article - May 21 2011 — Unsigned comment by 68.40.28.109 (talk) at 11:31 on May 21, 2011

Only one has a heart you can pickpocket.Wolfy 16:33, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
I dont think you can pickpocket any of the hearts, and only 2 have hearts at all that are items so this is impossible.--Catmaniac66 16:34, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
Wait two of hearts? who am I missing? Wolfy 16:36, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
Those hearts are quest specific. See The Renegade Shadowscale. --DKong27 Talk Cont 16:38, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
