Strange[edit]

I ran into Ancus inside Castle Cheydinhal. Is there anything listed in his scripts that lead him there, specifically in the restricted section? --66.29.169.1 12:16, 10 June 2008 (EDT)

He visits Cheydinhal on the 25th of each month from 9am for 24 hours. If he's in the Cheydinhal Bridge Inn or within 400 feet of Andel Indarys between 7pm and midnight, he will head for the castle and stay there as long as Andel does or midnight comes. At least, I think that's what happens. The AI package in question is called AncusAfaniusVisitCheydinhalCastle so it's definitely intended behaviour. –RpehTCE 12:31, 10 June 2008 (EDT)

Solution to the race question[edit]

I think the programmers set Ancus as a Breton (much like Matthias Draconis) so that the brothers don't sound exactly alike. Although the Odiil's don't have this and the Draconis sisters don't either, its a thought.

As a side note, it seems funny that two of Umbacano's guards are parts of families with this issue. Seign Thelas 06:48, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

Does it need a solution, other than that their parents may have comprised a breton and an imperial? I assume there's no reason that the two can't successfully procreate, since bretons themselves are supposedly part elf, from what I recall... --Vometia 00:26, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
There is a book somewhere saying that the offspring has a one in four chance of being the fathers race while the mother has a three in four chance of the offspring having their race.--Corevette789
Coincidentally, I just found this: Notes on Racial Phylogeny, which sort of explains things a bit. (I'm just imagining the offspring of an orc maiden and a bosmer male. Ew.) --Vometia 02:55, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
